Zoom Rooms allows you to call directly to a SIP/H.323 device. You can also add SIP/H.323 devices in the Zoom web portal, which will add them to the contacts list in the Zoom Room controller. Zoom Rooms have the ability to make a call-out to one SIP/H.323 device at a time. For meetings with multiple SIP/H.323 devices, the account will need to have one license available for each device. 

Note: This setting will be disabled if End-to-end (E2EE) encryption for meetings  is enabled.

Prerequisites for SIP/H.323 device call-out from Zoom Rooms

Singe device call-out, no Room Connector add-on:

• Zoom Rooms global minimum version or higher
• Zoom Rooms Controller for iOS global minimum version or higher
• Zoom Rooms Controller for Android global minimum version or higher

Call-outs to multiple devices:

• Zoom Rooms global minimum version or higher
• Zoom Rooms Controller global minimum version or higher
• Subscribed to the H.323/SIP Room Connector add-on
  

How to call SIP/H.323 devices from Zoom Rooms

You can call a SIP/H.323 device using the contacts list or the device's IP address or E.164 number.

Using the contacts list

Note: The SIP/H.323 device must be added in the Zoom web portal to appear in the contacts list on the Zoom Room controller. Which requires the Room Connector add-on. 

1. Tap Contacts on your Zoom Rooms Controller
2. Use the search box to find for the SIP/H.323 device you want to call, then tap the entry for it.
3. Tap Meet to start a meeting with the selected SIP/H.323 devices.
4. If you need to enter digits (e.g. meeting ID) during the call-out, click Manage Participants, tap on the name of the SIP/H.323 device, then tap Show Keypad.
5. Enter numbers using the keypad.

Using the device's IP address or E.164 number

1. Tap Home in the left-side panel.
2. Tap the arrow to the right of New Meeting.
3. Tap Call SIP/H.323.
4. Enter the IP address or E.164 number, tap H.323 or SIP, then tap Call.
5. Tap Keypad if you need to enter digits (e.g. meeting ID) during the call-out.
6. Enter numbers using the keypad.

How to call a SIP/H.323 device while in a Zoom Rooms meeting

You can call an SIP/H.323 device using the contacts list or the device's IP address or E.164 number.

Using the contacts list

Note: The SIP/H.323 device must be added in the Zoom web portal to appear in the contacts list on the Zoom Room controller.

1. Tap Manage Participants then tap Invite while in a meeting.
2. Tap the Contacts tab.
3. Use the search box to find for the SIP/H.323 device you want to call, then tap the entry for it.
4. Tap Invite.
5. If you need to enter digits (e.g. meeting ID) during the call-out, click Manage Participants, tap on the name of the SIP/H.323 device, then tap Show Keypad.
6. Enter numbers using the keypad.

Using the device's IP address or E.164 number

1. Tap Manage Participants then tap Invite while in a meeting.
2. Tap the SIP/H.323 tab.
3. Enter the IP address, select H.323 or SIP, then tap Call.
4. Tap Keypad if you need to enter digits (e.g. meeting ID) during the call-out.
5. Enter numbers using the keypad.
