Linking your Zoom account to another sign-in method
Zoom allows you to create an account by using your Google, Apple, or Facebook account, or an email and password. If you want to provide another method to access your account, you can link it to a method you did not initially choose.
Notes:
- If you created your account with Google, Apple, or Facebook, use the same email for your Google, Apple, or Facebook account to link with.
- If you created your account with an email and password, link it to your Google, Apple, or Facebook account with the same email.

How to link your Zoom account to your Google account
Link your Google account to your Zoom account if you did not initially create your Zoom account with Google.
- Sign out of your Zoom account.
- Go to the Zoom site from your browser.
- In the top-right corner, click Sign In.
- On the Sign In page, click Google.
- In the Link to your Zoom account page, click Link and Sign In.
Note: After clicking on Link and Sign In, you will be signed directly into your Zoom account. - In the navigation panel, click on Profile.
- Under Sign-In Email, verify Linked accounts displays the Google icon.
How to link your Zoom account to your Facebook account
If you did NOT create your account with Facebook, but desire to link that account to your Zoom account, follow these instructions:
- Sign out of your Zoom account.
- Go to the Zoom site from your browser.
- Click on Sign In.
- On the Sign In page, click on Facebook.
- On the zoom.us is requesting access to: page, click Continue as Zoom.
- In the Link to your Zoom account page, click Link and Sign In.
Note: After clicking on Link and Sign In, you will be signed directly into your Zoom account. - In the navigation panel, click on Profile.
- Under Sign-In Email, verify Linked accounts displays the Facebook icon.
How to link your Zoom account to your Apple account
If you did NOT create your account with Apple, but desire to link that account to your Zoom account, follow these instructions:
- Sign out of your Zoom account.
- Go to the Zoom site from your browser.
- Click Sign In.
- On the Sign In page, click Apple.
- On the zoom.us is requesting access to: page, click Continue as Zoom.
- In the Link to your Zoom account page, click Link and Sign In.
Note: After clicking on Link and Sign In, you will be signed directly into your Zoom account. - In the navigation panel, click on Profile.
- Under Sign-In Email, verify Linked accounts displays the Apple icon.
How to link your Zoom account to an email and password
If you did NOT create your account with an email and password, but desire to add an email and password to your Zoom account, follow these instructions:
- Sign out of your Zoom account.
- Go to the Zoom site from your browser.
- Click on Sign Up, It's Free.
- In the For verification, please confirm your date of birth. page, enter your date of birth.
- In the Sign Up free page, enter your email, then click Sign Up.
- Go to your email and click on the confirmation link sent to you.
- Click on Activate Account in the email.
- In the Welcome to Zoom page, type in your password and the other requirements then click Continue.
- Skip the next step to add users if desired.
- In the Start your test meeting, click on Go To My Account.
- In the navigation panel, click on Profile.
- Under Sign-In Email, verify Linked accounts displays the Email icon .
Notes:
- If you change your sign-in email on your Zoom profile you will no longer be able to login with Facebook or Google unless those accounts are using the same, new sign-in email.
- If you change the email on your Facebook account, you can continue logging in using Facebook but you will no longer be able to login with the sign-in email and password you created unless you change them as well on your Zoom profile.
