Using multiple monitors with Zoom Rooms for Touch
Zoom Rooms for Touch works with a multiple monitor setup that has one touchscreen monitor and up to two regular monitors. The touchscreen monitor displays Zoom Room controls (e.g. in-meeting controls, whiteboard annotation controls) while the regular monitors are used for displaying participants' video.

Note: If the secondary or tertiary monitor is a non-touch based display, screen shares will always show on the touch-based display(s), to utilize the full annotation/whiteboard features.
Prerequisites for using multiple monitors with Zoom Rooms for Touch
- Zoom Rooms for Windows global minimum version or higher
- Zoom Rooms Appliances global minimum version or higher
- Not all Zoom Rooms Appliances support multiple displays; consult Appliance vendor documentation for the supported display count.
How to set up Zoom Rooms for Touch with multiple monitors
- Sign in to Zoom Rooms for Conference Room.
Zoom Rooms will display the following message on each monitor.
Note: If you don't see this message, Zoom Rooms is not detecting a touchscreen monitor. Make sure your touchscreen monitor has the correct drivers installed. Also check if it needs a secondary connection to your PC. Most touchscreen monitors require a USB connection in addition to a video connection (e.g. HDMI, VGA, etc.) - On the touchscreen monitor, tap Use This as The Touch Screen Display.
The touchscreen monitor will display the homepage controls, while the regular monitor(s) will display the Zoom Room background image. - While in a meeting, the touchscreen monitor displays the whiteboard and in-meeting controls, while the regular monitor displays participant's video.
- To change what displays on each monitor, you can customize the display settings in the Zoom web portal.
How to change the monitor used as a Touchscreen
Follow these steps if Zoom Rooms incorrectly identifies the touchscreen monitor and you need to change it.
- Sign in to Zoom Rooms for Conference Room.
- Click Settings in the bottom-right corner of the meeting controls screen.
- Click Displays and enter the room's passcode if prompted.
Zoom Rooms will display the following message on each monitor.
- On the touchscreen monitor, tap Use This as The Touch Screen Display.
