This integration enables Microsoft Teams users to initiate and take advantage of Zoom Meetings, and Zoom Phone features within Teams. The integration appears in Microsoft Teams as:
Select the Microsoft Teams app and choose Configure. The Zoom Marketplace will display the permissions page. Note: If Zoom does not display the permissions page, you need to remove and add the Microsoft Teams app.
Click Enable Meeting.
Log in to your Microsoft Teams account.
Select Consent on behalf of your organizationand accept these meeting permissions. Note: If this is not checked, the configuration must be completed from the Microsoft Teams admin center. Follow Configure permissions in the Microsoft Teams admin center.
Click Confirm in the Zoom confirmation page.
Enable or disable Zoom Phone for Microsoft Teams
Notes:
Enable Zoom Phone:
Your organization users can see the Phone tab in the Zoom app Workplace tab.
Your organization users can see Make a phone call in Teams Extension.
Disable Zoom Phone:
Your organization users will not be able to use any Zoom app phone related features in Teams.
Your organization users can't see the Phone tab in the Zoom app Workplace tab.
Your organization users can't see Make a phone call in Teams Extension.
Select the Microsoft Teams app and choose Configure. The Zoom Marketplace will display the permissions page. Note: If Zoom does not display the permissions page, you need to remove and add the Microsoft Teams app.
Click Enable.
Log in to your Microsoft Teams account.
Select Consent on behalf of your organization and accept these phone permissions. Note: If this is not checked, the configuration must be completed from the Microsoft Teams admin center. Follow Configure permissions in the Microsoft Teams admin center.
Click Confirm in the Zoom confirmation page.
Note: Disabling Zoom Phone for Microsoft Teams does not remove the Zoom Phone option from the user interface.
Enable or disable Zoom Whiteboard for Microsoft Teams
Whiteboard is enabled by default but can be toggled on or off to enable or disable the feature.
Select the Microsoft Teams app and choose Configure. The Zoom Marketplace will display the permissions page. Note: If Zoom does not display the permissions page, you need to remove and add the Microsoft Teams app.
Click Enable.
Log in to your Microsoft Teams account.
Select Consent on behalf of your organization. Note: If this is not checked, the configuration must be completed from the Microsoft Teams admin center. Follow Configure permissions in the Microsoft Teams admin center.
Click the toggle next to Whiteboard to turn the setting on or off.
Click Enable or Disable to confirm the changes.
Enable Microsoft Teams Presence for Contacts and Speed Dial in the Zoom app
Select the Microsoft Teams app and choose Configure. The Zoom Marketplace will display the permissions page. Note: If Zoom does not display the permissions page, you need to remove and add the Microsoft Teams app.
Click Allows the app to read user presence.
Log in to your Microsoft Teams account.
Select Consent on behalf of your organizationand accept these permissions. Note: If this is not checked, the configuration must be completed from the Microsoft Teams admin center. Follow Configure permissions in the Microsoft Teams admin center.
Click Enable or Disable to confirm the changes.
Access your Outlook contacts in Zoom Phone Tab
For Microsoft Teams members to use the app to access their Outlook contacts list in the Zoom Phone contact part, Microsoft Teams administrators must configure the permissions on their behalf.
Select the Microsoft Teams app and choose Configure. The Zoom Marketplace will display the permissions page. Note: If Zoom does not display the permissions page, you need to remove and re-add the Microsoft Teams app.
Click Authorize.
Log in to your Microsoft Teams account.
Select Consent on behalf of your organization and accept these permissions. Note: If this is not checked, the configuration must be completed from the Microsoft Teams admin center. Follow Configure permissions in the Microsoft Teams admin center.
Click Enable or Disable to confirm the changes.
Grant missing and newly added scopes for Microsoft Teams app
To grant any missed scopes for the Microsoft Teams app in Zoom, follow these steps from the app's configuration page:
Select the Microsoft Teams app and choose Configure. The Zoom Marketplace will display the permissions page. Note: If Zoom does not display the permissions page, remove and re-add the Microsoft Teams app.
Look for any missing scopes. Click Grant for the specific scope that you want to authorize. You will be directed to the Microsoft authorization page.
Click Contact to authorize Microsoft Contact.Read scope.
Click Presence to authorize Microsoft Presence.Read.All scope.
Click Place to authorize Place.Read.All scope. Notes:
Enable Meeting to authorize User.ReadBasic.All,Calendars.ReadWrite.Shared,Place.Read.All scopes (All scopes used for meeting).
Enable Phone to auth User.Read.All,Presence.Read.All,Contact.Read scopes (All scopes used for phone).
If you missed some Microsoft scopes, you’ll see Missed scope tips and a Grant scope button. Click it to authorize Microsoft scopes. Click Grant scope or Enable Meeting or Phone switch, and you will be directed to the Microsoft authorization page.
Log in to your Microsoft Teams account.
Select Consent on behalf of your organization and accept these permissions. Note: If this option isn’t selected, complete the configuration in the Microsoft Teams admin center (see Configure permissions in the Microsoft Teams admin center).
Click Confirm in the Zoom confirmation page.
How to configure Microsoft Teams on the Zoom App in the Microsoft Admin Center
This is required if the admin does not check the box "Consent on behalf of your organization" when authorizing the Microsoft scope.
You can disable the native Teams video icon by following the instructions in this article.
Add the integration for all users
To add the integration for all users on your account, you can use the MS Graph API.
Add and pin Zoom to the Teams toolbar
You can pin the Zoom app to the left toolbar so that the Zoom app is visible to all users when they sign in.
Access Setup policies then Add apps.
Search for Zoom in the search textbox.
Select it to pin.
You have the ability to specify this globally or for specific users/groups in your organization. This utilizes the app setup policy within Teams. For more information, see this article.
How to use the Microsoft Teams integration
Use the Zoom Workplace tab
You can use the Zoom Workplace tab to schedule or start a Zoom meeting with anyone else in your organization who also has the Zoom app added. Additionally, you can make a phone call with anyone else in your Zoom organization and Microsoft organization.

Workplace: Zoom app home page, you can see the Meetings tab and Phone tab in the home page.
Meetings: Start or schedule Zoom meetings.
Phone: Make a phone call, send SMS, use Microsoft Contacts and Zoom contacts.
Notification: Accept notification cards from Zoom.

Use the Zoom Phone tab
You can initiate a phone call with Teams contacts directly in MS Teams without needing to manually enter phone numbers in the Zoom app.
Note: Before using the Zoom Meeting tab in the Zoom Workplace tab, make sure you have enabled the Zoom meeting for Microsoft Teams.
Start an instant meeting
Click New Meeting and invite some contacts in your organization to start an instant meeting. When the host starts the instant meeting, the invitees will receive an instant meeting card from Zoom app in Teams.
Schedule a meeting
Click Schedule and invite some contacts in your organization to schedule a Zoom meeting. The invitees who have added Zoom app will receive the meeting card from Zoom app in Teams.
Join a Meeting
Click Join and enter the meeting number of a Zoom meeting that you have permission to access, you can join the meeting.
Share screen
Click Share screen, and enter the meeting number of a Zoom meeting that you have permission to access, you can join the meeting and share your screen.
Meeting List
You can see your meeting list in the Meeting tab, and you can select any day to view the meeting of that day.
Click the Start button to start the meeting.
Click the Join button to join the meeting.
Click Edit in the top-right corner to edit the meeting. You can only edit non-pmi meetings.
Click Delete in the top-right corner to delete the meeting.
Click Copy invitation in the top-right corner to copy the meeting invitation.
Use Zoom Whiteboard
To share a Zoom Whiteboard in Teams:
Open a chat or channel.
Below the message box, click the ellipsis icon and search for Zoom app. You can also find the Zoom icon in the Recent section.
Click the Zoom icon .
In the Zoom dialog box, click Invite.
Click Share a Whiteboard. Note: You can also paste a Zoom Whiteboard link into into the chat or channel. The link will unfurl to display the whiteboard title and a preview of it.
Viewing whiteboard notifications in Teams:
If a whiteboard is shared with users outside of Teams chats or channels, the users will receive a notification in Teams. To view the notification, the users can click the Zoom channel.
If a user requests access to a whiteboard that has been shared with others, a notification for the whiteboard owner will be created in Teams. The whiteboard owner can click the Zoom channel, and then grant access to the whiteboard from the notification options.
Note: To use this feature, Zoom Whiteboards must be enabled on your account.
This app accesses and uses the following information from Zoom:
Upcoming meeting: Start time, topic, meeting ID, participant, host list.
Meeting details for each meeting: meeting ID, topic, start time, duration, meeting password, join link, meeting invitation with join instructions.
Meeting settings: video, audio, password, Enable join before host, Mute participants upon entry, Personal Meeting ID, Enable waiting room, Only authenticated users can join, Recording option, Enable additional data center regions for this meeting.
Start a meeting: join link, meeting ID, topic, password.
