Transferring PMI or vanity URL from a Basic account
If you have recently switched Zoom accounts and want to use your previous account's Personal Meeting ID (PMI) and/or personal vanity URL, but cannot change the old account's PMI and vanity URL due to it being a Basic account, follow the steps below.
Note: Your new Zoom account must have a Pro subscription plan and be an owner or an admin on the account.

How to transfer a PMI or URL from a Basic account
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
- In the navigation menu, click User Management then User.
- Add the old Zoom account as a user.
Note: You must accept the invitation sent to the old email address. - Temporarily change your new account to Basic, and your old account to Pro.
- Sign out of the new account.
- Sign back in to the old account.
- Change the PMI and vanity URL.
- Sign out of the old account.
- Sign back in to the new account.
- Switch the Pro subscription back to the new account.
- Change the PMI and vanity URL on the new account.
