Using Google Pay as a Zoom payment method

Zoom accepts Google Pay as a payment method for customers who meet the eligibility criteria. You can change your payment method to Google Pay at any time through the Zoom web portal.

Note: You will need to select a valid payment card within Google Pay in order to use Google Pay as your payment method.

How to pay with Google Pay when purchasing a Zoom plan

New customer

  1. Start your purchase from the Plans and Pricing site and follow the instructions on the screen.
  2. Once you reach the payment step, in the Payment Method section, click Google Pay.
  3. Click Checkout with  Pay.
  4. In the Google Pay modal pop-up window, review the Google account selected and the credit/debit card being used. If you are not signed in to your Google account, you will need to sign in first before proceeding. 
  5. Click Continue.
  6. In the Review Order window, click Place Order.

Existing customer with free account upgrading to a paid account

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Plans and Billing then Billing Management.
  3. Click Upgrade to Pro.
    You will be redirected to the product checkout page.
  4. Choose your desired licenses, products, and subscription cycle as needed.
  5. Once you reach the payment step, in the Payment Method section, click Google Pay.
  6. Click Checkout with  Pay.
  7. In the Google Pay modal pop-up window, review the Google account selected and the credit/debit card being used. If you are not signed in to your Google account, you will need to sign in first before proceeding. 
  8. Click Continue.
  9. Click Place Order to complete your purchase.

How to change your Zoom payment method to Google Pay

Eligible existing customers can change their payment method to Google Pay. To do so, follow the steps below depending on where your billing portal is located in the left navigation menu of the Zoom web portal. Not sure how to identify where your billing portal is located? Billing portal under Plans and Billing
  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Plans and Billing then click Billing Management.
  3. In the Payment Method section, next to your current payment method, click the ellipses icon .
  4. Click Edit payment method.
  5. Click Change Payment.
  6. Select Google Pay.
  7. Click  Pay.
  8. In the Google Pay modal pop-up window, review the Google account selected and the credit/debit card being used. If you are not signed in to your Google account, you will need to sign in first before proceeding. 
  9. Click Continue.
Billing portal under Account Management
  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Billing.
  3. Click the Billing Information tab.
  4. In the Payment Method section, click Edit.
  5. Select Google Pay.
  6. Click  Pay.
  7. In the Google Pay modal pop-up window, review the Google account selected and the credit/debit card being used. If you are not signed in to your Google account, you will need to sign in first before proceeding. 
  8. Click Continue.
  9. (Optional) To the right of your Google Pay payment method, click Edit to make any changes.
