Porting away from Zoom Phone


Transferring your phone numbers away from Zoom Phone is a simple process, specific to the country you are porting in. Your new service provider should be able to guide you through the porting process.

This article will guide you through how to get your account information from Zoom.

Note: If your port-out request is rejected for the number being a PSAP number, please update the PSAP number to one that is not porting.

How to port US and EMEA phone numbers

Below are the steps on how you can get your Zoom Phone account details that you can use to port your Americas and EMEA numbers.

  1. Sign into the Zoom web portal.
    Notes:
    • If you are porting out EMEA phone numbers, follow the steps up to step 3.
    • If you are porting out US phone numbers, follow the steps up to step 7.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management, then Account Profile. Take note of your Account Number.
  3. In the navigation menu, click Account Management, Billing, then Billing Contact. Take note of the following:
    • Company Name
    • First and Last Name
    • Address
  4. In the navigation menu, click Phone System Management then Company Info.
  5. Click Account Settings.
  6. Scroll to the Port-out Verification section.
  7. Click Change to view the port-out PIN.

How to port APAC phone numbers

Below are the steps to get your account details to port your APAC numbers.

  1. Sign into the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Profile. Take note of your Account Number.
  3. In the navigation menu, click Account Management, Billing then Billing Contact. Take note of the following:
    • Company Name
    • First and Last Name
    • Address

Raise your intent to port away from Zoom Phone

This step only applies to APAC countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, or Hong Kong.

  1. Submit your ticket Here and make sure to follow the steps below:
    • Please select your request type: Zoom Phone Number Porting
    • Your email address: Account owner or admin email.
    • Product: Select your Zoom Product
    • Type of issue: Port Out Inquiry
    • Porting Country: Select Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, or Hong Kong
    • Porting Number Quantity: Select the range of quantity of numbers to port.
    • Subject: Port Out Inquiry
    • Description: Please make sure the details below are present for a smooth transaction:
      • Zoom Phone or Zoom Contact Center Account Number
      • A brief note that you would like to port away your number from Zoom.
      • Phone numbers to be ported out or attached to your spreadsheet.
    • Attachments:
      • Completed LOA from the new service provider

      • (Optional) Spreadsheet
  2. Zoom will review and confirm receipt of the request.
