Porting away from Zoom Phone or Zoom Contact Center
Transferring your phone numbers away from Zoom Phone or Zoom Contact Center is a simple process, specific to the country you are porting away. Your new service provider should be able to guide you through the porting process.
This article will guide you through how to get your account information from Zoom and provide steps on how to get the account details that you need to use to port your number to another operator.
Note: If your port-out request is rejected because the number is a PSAP number, please update the PSAP number to one that is not porting.

Prerequisites for porting away from Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center
- Account owner or admin privileges
- Zoom Phone or Zoom Contact Center license
- Zoom Phone or Zoom Contact Center account must be kept on ACTIVE status; otherwise, your order will be denied.
Notes:
- Zoom does not require and provide Customer Service Records (CSR) to port away your numbers.
- Your new phone operator must bypass the CSR step, which is not mandatory.
- Zoom Phone or Zoom Contact Center account must remain active until the port is completed.
- Contact your new operator for a status update as the port-in process is an operator-to-operator transaction.
- For Hong Kong, we can only release numbers, that were ported into Zoom.
How to port away US local numbers
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
- In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Profile.
- Take note of the following:
- Account Name
- Account Number
- In the navigation menu, click User Management then Users.
- Search for the Owner or Admin role.
- Take note of the First and Last Name of the owner or admin.
- In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Billing.
- Click the Billing Information tab.
- Take note of the Address.
- Obtain your port out PIN. The Zoom platform you are on will define where you obtain your port out PIN:
- Without the Number Management section in the web portal:
- In the navigation menu, click Phone System Management then Company Info.
- Click Account Settings.
- Under Security, locate the Port-out Verification section.
- Click Change to view the port-out PIN.
- With the Number Management section in the web portal:
- In the navigation menu, click Number Management then Related Features.
- Click Port-out Verification.
- Click Change to view the port-out PIN.
How to port away US/Canada toll-free and Canada local numbers
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
- In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Profile.
- Take note of the Account Name.
- In the navigation menu, click User Management then Users.
- Search for the Owner or Admin role.
- Take note of the First and Last Name of the owner or admin.
- In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Billing.
- Click the Billing Information tab.
- Take note of the Address.
How to port away EMEA phone numbers

How to port away LATAM phone numbers

How to port away APAC phone numbers

- In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Profile.
- Take note of the following:
- Account Name
