Porting away from Zoom Phone or Zoom Contact Center


Transferring your phone numbers away from Zoom Phone or Zoom Contact Center is a simple process, specific to the country you are porting away. Your new service provider should be able to guide you through the porting process.

This article will guide you through how to get your account information from Zoom and provide steps on how to get the account details that you need to use to port your number to another operator.

Note: If your port-out request is rejected because the number is a PSAP number, please update the PSAP number to one that is not porting.

How to port away US local numbers

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Profile.
    1. Take note of the following:
      • Account Name
      • Account Number
  3. In the navigation menu, click User Management then Users.
    1. Search for the Owner or Admin role.
    2. Take note of the First and Last Name of the owner or admin.
  4. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Billing.
    1. Click the Billing Information tab.
    2. Take note of the Address.
  5. In the navigation menu, click Phone System Management then Company Info.
    1. Click Account Settings.
    2. Under Security, locate the Port-out Verification section.
    3. Click Change to view the port-out PIN.

How to port away US/Canada toll-free and Canada local numbers

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Profile.
    1. Take note of the Account Name.
  3. In the navigation menu, click User Management then Users.
