Data center and dial-in regions relationship

When customizing the data center regions, the web portal will display a warning notification if there’s a conflict with the dial-in countries.

For example, if you deselect Australia as a data center region, you will not be able to select Australia or New Zealand as a dial-in country. In additional, you will not be able to select Australia or New Zealand toll or toll-free/fee-based toll numbers.

Notes:

To see the associated data center of specific dial-in numbers, select the toll or toll-free/fee-based toll numbers and view the Data Center column.
Call-out countries/regions are not affected by the account's selected data centers. The only exception is China. You must have the China data center selected to see China as a call-out country.

Relationship between data center and dial-in from countries

The following table shows the relationship between the two settings. It explains the limitations to the dial-in countries based on the select data center region.

Germany	Germany	These 2 data centers belong to the European data center. If you select all European data centers, Zoom will provide PSTN services for the following countries in Europe: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

India*	N/A	No countries affected

United States of America	All other countries not in the above data centers

*Zoom does not have telephony services deployed in these two data centers, so these data centers have no impact on dial-in/call-to countries.
