Payment card Authorization and Capture occurs at the same time
The card authentication and payment capture will occur at the same time. As a result, paid ticket registration, only using PayPal, will open to registrants 26 days before the event starts. Previously, paid ticket registration (using PayPal) was 28 days before an event began, and the card authentication and payment capture lagged 2 days after each other. -
Support for post-registration payout
Payout for an event occurs after the post-registration period for a ticket type ends. Previously, payout for an event occurred after the event ended.

Direct attendees to specific ticket
When attendees click View Ticket in their event confirmation emails, they will be automatically directed to their specific ticket for that event. Previously, attendees were taken to the general Tickets page.

Support for partial refunds
OnZoom now has a partial refund functionality for single-session and event series. Event organizers can now accept attendees’ partial refund requests. The event organizer can partially refund attendees in the following scenarios:
- Event level: Some occurrences of the entire event series can be cancelled and the amount of those occurrences will be partially refunded.
- Ticket level: Some tickets of the entire order can be cancelled and refunded.

Enhancements to live streaming and recording enablement
Hosts can now change live streaming and recording enablement settings after a ticket has been sold for pending events that have not taken place yet.

Separate paid event creation from paid ticket creation
Hosts can now schedule paid events on any date. Only the attendee paid ticket registration is limited by their OnZoom host account's payment provider requirements:
- PayPal: 29 days
- Stripe (users in the US): 12 months
- Stripe (users outside of the US): 89 days
Availability for the paid ticket registration will follow the payment provider’s requirements. Attendees can now view the paid event registration open date and choose to receive an email reminder to return to the paid event page to complete registration once it’s available. Previously, hosts were limited and could not schedule their paid events beyond their OnZoom account’s payment provider scheduling requirements.

Recording of conferences (across all sessions) and events can now be recorded locally instead of only to the cloud. The Host must enable the local recording option. -
Updated OnZoom onboarding videos

Edit ticket details after publishing paid or free events
After a single-session event/series event is published, the Host can edit their event’s ticket details even if it already has registrants. The Quantity, Ticket Name, Description, Registration Starts/Ends fields are editable and will apply to future registration after they are updated. Additionally, Hosts can add to or delete the guest list.

Scheduling paid events
Hosts that have Stripe enabled as their payment provider and a billing address in the U.S. can schedule and hold paid events up to 12 months after publishing. -
OnZoom registration and Zoom desktop client credentials detection
When registrants with calendars integrated into their Zoom desktop client are signed in to the client with credentials different than their OnZoom registration credentials, they will see a View Event option. Only users signed in to the Zoom desktop client with the same credentials that are used for OnZoom registration will see a Join button.

Singular location for OnZoom Host Profile
Previously, users could access the Host Profile link from multiple locations. Now, the Host Profile link can be accessed from a more visible, singular location. When a user clicks their name under their profile picture, it will take them to the Host Profile tab on the Manage page. -
Re-linking a Stripe account
Hosts can either create a new account or relink a previously created Stripe account. After relinking, all existing Stripe transactions (charges, payouts, refunds, transaction details) are resumed.

Clicking Create from the homepage will take Hosts directly to the event creation process, saving unnecessary clicks for the Host. Previously, there was a single dropdown Event option that users had to click on.

Minimum desktop client and mobile app version 5.6.3
Users are now required to be on Zoom desktop client or mobile app version 5.6.3 or higher to start or join an OnZoom event. If users are on an older version, they will be prompted to download the latest version.

Support for Basic Webinar license holders to host webinars
Basic Webinar license holders can host webinar events that are limited to a maximum event duration of 40 minutes and a maximum attendance capacity of 100 participants, in addition to reduced usage of webinar feature set. -
New payment processor: Stripe
Hosts can now link to Stripe for payment processing. When linked to Stripe, an event can be scheduled to start up to 89 days after its publishing date. -
Updated OnZoom Terms of Use
Account administrators can now accept the OnZoom Host Terms of Service on behalf of all users on their account. OnZoom Hosts with a Pro Zoom license are now subject to the new OnZoom Host Terms of Use. OnZoom Event Attendees can now accept the Event Participant Terms of Use during registration and can opt-in to share data with the Host. -

Hosts can now collect email addresses from registrants who opt-in to data sharing during registration -
Attendee Payment Options
Attendees can now manage, edit, and save payment methods under Billing, allowing them to save up to two credit cards or a PayPal wallet for simple event checkout.

New Hosts are prompted to create a test event the first time they create an event
After OnZoom Host account creation, new Hosts will be asked if they would like to create a test event the first time they start to create an event. Test events are published events, but do not show up in the public directory and search results. Test events provide new Hosts the opportunity to create an event, go through the ticket-registration and ticket-gifting processes, and host that event—without a public audience—to familiarize themselves with all of the functionalities available to them when creating and hosting an event.

Send one-time message for an individual occurrence in an event series

Include event recording as a part of ticket access
Hosts can now enable the option to include a complimentary event recording as a part of an OnZoom event ticket. This allows Attendees to view a recording of an event, in case they have missed the live event, or wanted to review an event they previously attended.

"Become a Host" approval status available on the application page
When applying for OnZoom Host status, after submitting an application, potential Hosts can stay on the same web page, to see if they have been approved to become an OnZoom Host. An approval status email will also be sent as well. -
Event cover images required when creating an event
When creating an OnZoom event, a cover image is now required before continuing the event creation process. -
Brand name change of OnZoom’s donation partner
OnZoom’s donation partner Pledging has rebranded themselves under the name Pledge. While the name will be updated within the OnZoom interface, all other current donation settings and processes will not be affected. -
Panelists can join the event as soon as it has started
Panelists can now join an OnZoom event immediately after the Host has joined, allowing for longer practice time before allowing Attendees into the event. -
Invitee list for private tickets can be edited after publishing
When enabling Restrict Tickets to the Following User, Hosts can now edit the invitee list even if the event has already been published.

Hosts can see detailed donation information for donation-enabled events in the directory and search pages. -
“You” linked to “OnZoom for You”
Clicking “You” in the “OnZoom for You” section of the Masthead takes the user to “OnZoom for You” content when Feature Content is not shown in the Masthead. -
Join button color enhancement
Countdown clock shown next to the “Join” button in the ticket. -
Implemented OnZoom Host Public Profile URL application
Hosts can choose and apply for an OnZoom Host Public Profile URL via an application process. -
Host can send their own invitation

Quick join for free events
If a free event has already started, instead of using the registration button, a join button will be available instead. This will allow attendees to register for the event and join the event with one click. -
Ticket sale window defaulted to end of the event
The ticket sale end time for events will by default now be set to the end time of the event. For event series, the end time will be the end time of the last event in the series. -
Host Vanity URLs
OnZoom hosts can customize a Host Vanity URL, to replace the URLs for the public Host profile. -
Chat and in-event reactions for free events
Chat and in-event reactions will now be available with free events as well as paid events. Hosts can enable/disable the chat function when creating the event or during the event. -

UX improvements for invitees and attendees
UX improvements have been made for Attendees and invitees including: prompts to sign in if trying to register for an event but the user is not signed in to OnZoom; prompts for Attendee to upgrade Zoom client if Attendee cannot join the event after a period of time; Attendee can join event immediately after registering for an event if the event has already started; added a Notification Center for Attendees to customize if notifications are received in the portal and/or by email. -
Alternative Hosts role for OnZoom events
Added ability to invite Alternative Hosts to OnZoom interactive events. -
Private, and Private and Restricted event types
Hosts can now create private events (events excluded from being listed in the OnZoom directory and are not discoverable via search, but are open to registration by anyone with the link), and private and restricted events, which are visible and accessible only to the users added to the designated guest list, and only those users can view the event’s details and register for that specific event. -
Delete in-meeting chat
Hosts can delete messages sent in the in-event chat if updated to the newest client version. -
In-event reactions
Attendees can now react during an OnZoom event by using an emoji to communicate
without interrupting the event. Reactions will disappear after 5 seconds. -
