Zoom error message “(#200) Subject does not have permission to create live video on this group”
If you receive the message “(#200) Subject does not have permission to create live video on this group” while trying to livestream on Facebook, this means that the user doesn’t have permission to go live from the Facebook group.
How to fix it
Note: These steps require the admin of the group to make the needed changes.
- Confirm that Zoom has been added as an approved app for the group.
- Sign in to Facebook.
- Navigate to Edit Group Settings > Apps > Add Apps > select Zoom.
- Once Zoom is added, try to go live.
- If the live is unsuccessful, check the Zoom app version, and update if needed.
