Computer recordings are saved locally on your computer. To share these recordings with others, you can upload them to third-party cloud storage platforms such as Dropbox or Google Drive.

How to share computer recordings

While computer recordings are saved locally to your device, you can easily locate the recording files from the Zoom Workplace desktop app or the web portal. Once you access the MP4 file, you can share it with others by sending the file directly or uploading it to a third-party service.
 
Windows | macOS | Linux
  1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop app.
  2. In the navigation bar, click the Hub  tab.
    Note: If you do not see the Hub tab , click the More tab , then click Hub .
  3. In the Hub side panel, click Recordings & Transcripts.
  4. Click Computer recordings.
  5. Hover over the name of the recording you want to share, then click the ellipsis icon .
  6. Click View file location to open the recording in your device’s files.
    A new window opens displaying all Zoom meeting recordings saved on your computer.
  7. Click the folder of your meeting recording and locate the MP4 file of the recording you want to share.
  8. Choose how you want to share the recording:
    • Send the file directly: Attach the MP4 file to an email, send it through a chat message, or share it through any other direct method you prefer.
    • Upload to a third-party service: Upload your MP4 recording file to a service such as:
  9. Once you've shared the file directly or uploaded it to a third-party service, others can access the recording.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click My account.
  3. In the side menu, click Recordings and Transcripts .
  4. Click Computer recordings.
  5. Find the meeting and to the right of its location path, click Open.
    A new window opens, displaying the meeting's recording saved on your computer.
