The Zoom Rooms Controller app provides an ideal way to manage a Zoom Room meeting without having to interact with the in-room Zoom Rooms Controller. The app allows you to pair your device with a Zoom Room or Zoom for Home device and control the Zoom Room during meetings.
Zoom Rooms support a maximum of ten controllers simultaneously. Zoom Room scheduling displays, web-based controllers, Zoom app desktop controllers, iOS/Android mobile device controllers, and paired Zoom desktop and mobile clients do not count against this limit, as they have their own, separate limits.

How to install from the Zoom App Marketplace
The Zoom Rooms Controller app is included with the Zoom desktop client and is displayed in your Apps list.
To install the app manually:
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace with your Zoom account.
- In the top right of your screen, enter Zoom Rooms Controller in the search box to find the app.
- In your search results, find the Zoom Rooms Controller app and click it.
- Click Add.
- Review the requested permissions, then click Authorize.
Once installed, the app is displayed under the Apps section of the Zoom desktop client.
How to use the Zoom Rooms Controller app
You can start the Room Controller app from the Apps tab in the Zoom client.
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- Click Apps then Room Controller.
- Select your Zoom for Home device from the list.
If you do not see any devices on the list, click Control Nearby Room and click Pair next to the room you want to control. - Enter the Sharing Key and click OK.
- (Optional) Click Meet Now to start an instant meeting or click Meeting List to start a scheduled meeting.
How to uninstall Zoom Rooms Controller from the Zoom App Marketplace
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace with your Zoom account.
- In the top right of the page, click Manage.
- In the navigation menu, click Added Apps.
- Click Remove for the app.

The app does not handle any personal data.
