Viewing call history and recordings If you have Zoom Phone activated on your account, you can use the Zoom app to view your call history, including missed and answered incoming calls and outgoing calls. If you have enabled contacts integration , you can also create a new contact from a call history entry.
Notes :
Users can view comprehensive call transfer information when receiving calls transferred from Zoom Contact Center to Zoom Phone. When accessing the call history interface, users can see the original caller ID in the Consumer field, while the From field displays the Zoom Contact Center information. The call history includes additional details such as the transfer initiator, contact center queue name, and agent information. The improved call history interface provides summary data for each transferred call. This feature requires users to have the latest Zoom Workplace app version. For variables and sentiment data from ZCC, users must have the Zoom Phone Customer Engagement Pack license to see the data. By default, you can play, download, or delete your own ad hoc recordings (recordings started using in-call controls ). If you don't see your recordings, ask your admin to grant you access. Call history and recordings are synced between the Zoom Workplace desktop app and mobile app. This includes the notification icon (red circle icon). For example, if you play a new call recording in the desktop client, it will also remove the notification icon on the mobile app. When recordings or voicemails cannot be saved due to issues like call switch failover, recording server failure, or connectivity problems, users are prompted that the recording has stopped. Callers trying to leave a voicemail hear a message that the service is temporarily unavailable. If the user did not opt in to use Zoom's encryption key, alerts related to encryption key issues are also provided.
Requirements for viewing call history and recordings
Note : If your admin assigned you the ability to view the call recordings of other extensions , see the admin article for accessing call recordings for more information. This article only covers viewing your own call recordings.
Limitations for viewing call history and recordings
Viewing call history and recordings has the following limitations:
Use the Zoom web portal to view call history and recordings if you need to filter calls by date or contact. If your admin grants you access to another phone user's recording, you can only access these call recordings using the Zoom web portal. By default, only admins can access your automatic recordings. If you don't see your automatic recordings, ask your admin to grant you access.

How to identify call history entries in the desktop app, mobile app, or Zoom Web App
Caller ID
If the number has a caller ID name, Zoom Phone displays the name above the number. If the number belongs to an internal contact, the Zoom Phone contact's name is set in their Zoom profile instead of their caller ID name. Zoom Phone also displays the contact's extension number. If the number belongs to a synced contact, Zoom Phone displays the synced contact's name as set in the third-party service instead of their caller ID name. The system links Zoom Virtual Agent call summaries to corresponding Zoom Phone call IDs for clear identification.
Note : Synced contacts are currently not supported on Linux, Zoom Web App, Android, and iOS. If you're using the Zoom mobile app and have enabled phone contacts matching , the name in your phone's default contacts app will display instead of the caller's caller ID name.
