Entering CSV file information for Zoom Events
Hosts can create sessions manually or upload a CSV file with session dates, names, times, descriptions, speakers, and more.

How to download a CSV sample file for session information
- Access the Sessions tab in the event creation flow.
- In the top-right corner, click the ellipsis , then click Add Sessions through Uploading CSV.
Note: If you have not added speakers yet, click Upload CSV File.
A pop-up window will appear. - In the pop-up window, click Download Sample File.
A CSV file will download.
Enter session information into CSV fields
After downloading the CSV sample file, complete the session information:
- Type: Enter the session type as Webinar or Meeting.
- Session Title: Enter the title of the session.
- Session Description: Provide a description about this session.
- Date: Enter the date (YYYY-MM-DD) of the session.
- Start Time: Enter the start time (HH:MM) of the session; be sure to specify between AM or PM.
- End Time: Enter the ending time (HH:MM) of the session; be sure to specify between AM or PM.
- Speakers Names: Enter the full name of the speaker.
- Alternative Host Emails: Enter the email address of the alternative host.
Note: Do not add additional punctuation or spaces after the email address. - Track: Enter the track type. Tracks are a way to group multiple sessions together based on the type or topic of the sessions. The track will be used in the UI for the search and discovery of relevant sessions. You can upload the CSV file with default track names ("Track1", "Track2"), but for best practices, name the tracks according to their theme.
- Product: Enter the session's product for discussion. Enter the session's main topic of discussion.
- Level: Define the audience's level of aptitude towards the session topic.
- Audience: Define the audience the session is designed for.
Upload CSV file into the event creation flow
After you enter the CSV information into the CSV sample file, you can upload the completed CSV file into the event creation flow.
How to download a CSV sample file for speaker information
- Access the Speakers tab in the event creation flow.
- In the top-right corner, click the ellipsis , then click Add Speakers through Uploading CSV.
Note: If you have not added speakers yet, click Upload CSV File.
A pop-up window will appear. - In the pop-up window, click Download Sample File.
A CSV file will download.
Enter speaker information into CSV fields
After downloading the CSV sample file, complete the speakers' information:
- Full Name: Enter the speaker's first name and last name.
- Email: Enter the speaker's email address.
- Company Name: Enter the speaker's company name.
- Company Website: Enter the speaker's company's website.
- Job Title or Position: Enter the speaker's job title or position.
- Biography: Enter a brief speaker bio.
- Speaker Twitter: Enter the URL to the speaker's Twitter page.
- Speaker YouTube: Enter the URL to the speaker's YouTube page.
- Speaker LinkedIn: Enter the URL to the speaker's LinkedIn page.
Upload CSV file into the event creation flow
After you enter the CSV information into the CSV sample file, you can upload the completed CSV file into the event creation flow.
