Managing the Analytics Attendees tab
Under the Analytics section of the event creation flow, the Attendees tab includes metrics for your event and session attendance. It also includes lobby analytics.

How to access the Analytics Attendees tab in Zoom Events
- Create a Zoom Event or edit an upcoming event to access the event creation flow.
- In the event creation flow navigation menu, click Analytics, then click Attendees.
The Attendees page will appear.
How to view the Attendees tab's metrics
Highlights
In the Highlights section, you can view the following information:
- Total Attendees: This measures the total number of unique attendees who join the lobby or any event session by phone, mobile, or desktop client. This includes general ticket holders, special roles, hosts, co-editors, or hub hosts.
- Event Turnout Rate: This is the percentage of all unique attendees over total unique registrants. It includes general ticket holders, special roles, hosts, co-editors, or hub hosts.
- Participated in Group Chats: The number of attendees who sent or responded to at least 1 message in a group chat (e.g., lobby chat).
- Participated in 1:1 Chats: The number of attendees who sent or responded to at least 1 message in a 1:1 chat.
- Have Networking Profiles: The number of attendees who have networking profiles.
- Made Connections: The number of attendees who made at least 1 connection.
- Responded to Polls: The number of attendees who responded to at least 1 poll.
- Responded to Surveys: The number of attendees who responded to at least 1 survey.
- Asked Questions: The number of attendees who asked at least 1 question.
- Engaged with Resource Link: Number of attendees who engaged with any resource links during an event.
You can hover your mouse over each Highlights card to view more information about the displayed percentage.
Attendee Summary
You can filter your attendee results by country. In the top-right corner of the Attendee Summary section, use the filter dropdown menu to select the country that you want to filter by, then click the Apply Filter button. The metrics and charts will display results only based on that country.
- Attendees by Country: Pie chart that displays attendance by different countries. Compares attendance by country.
- Attendees by Role: Pie chart that displays unique attendees by their roles. A user can have one of the 3 roles: host group, special role, or general role based on their ticket types.
- Attendees Join via Device Type: Pie chart that shows unique attendees grouped by the type of device they used to join this session.
- Attendance Breakdown by Number of Sessions Attended: Bar chart that displays the number of attendees joining a specific number of sessions during the event. This shows unique attendees grouped by total sessions one attended during the event.
- Attendance Breakdown by Minutes Spent in Sessions: Bar chart that displays the number of attendees spending a specific number of minutes in sessions during the event. This shows unique attendees grouped by total minutes one spent in all sessions.
- Lobby Attendees by Day: Bar chart that displays the number of unique attendees that entered the lobby on a given day.
- Session Attendance by Day: Bar chart that shows the number of unique attendees that entered any session on a given day.
Download analytics chart data
- Access the Analytics Attendees tab in the event creation flow.
- In the Attendee Summary section, find the chart with the data you want.
- In the top-right corner of the chart, click Download .
A CSV file will download with the chart data.
Lobby Trending Summary
In the Lobby Trending Summary section, you can view the following information:
- Top bookmarks: This is a list of the top 5 sessions bookmarked by users.
- Top selected filters: This section highlights which filters are most frequently selected by users who visit the lobby.
- Top viewed sessions: This is a list of the top 5 sessions with the most unique visits made by users to the session details page.
View the event lobby
In the top-right corner of the section, you can click View Event Lobby to open the event's lobby in a new window.
Download data
In the top-right corner of the Lobby Trending Summary section, click Download Table Data to download a CSV report of the Lobby Trending Summary section analytics.
Resource Link Engagement
In the Resource Link Engagement section, you can view the following information:
- Resource Link: This displays the name of the resource link.
- Where Resource Link Was Initiated: This displays where the resource link was initiated.
- Number of Clicks: This measures the total number of unique attendees who engaged with this resource link.
- Click-Through Rate: This is the percentage of unique attendees who engaged in this resource link over the unique views of the resource link.
You can also use the search bar in the top right corner to search by resource link.
Download data
In the top-right corner of the Resource Link Engagement section, click Download Table Data to download a CSV report of the Resource Link Engagement section analytics.
How to share event analytics
To share analytics, you must add co-editors and give them analytics permission.
Note: Hub owners and hosts are automatically given access.
How to download CSV reports
- Access the Analytics Attendees tab in the event creation flow.
- In the top-right corner of the Attendees page, click View All Standard Reports.
A Download Standard Reports panel will appear, displaying all analytics reports. - In the panel, to the left of the report you want to view, click the forward arrow to expand and view the details of the reports.
- To the right of the report you want to download, click Download .
