Changes to existing features
- Bulk add Cisco/Polycom rooms to a specific API Connector
Administrators can bulk select multiple Cisco/Polycom room systems and assign them a specific API Connector. - Additional configuration settings for managed Cisco/Polycom rooms
Additional configuration settings are available when configuring rooms managed with the enhanced Zoom Connector for SIP/H.323 devices. These settings include the ability to optimize the room for single or dual displays and closed caption positioning. In addition, certain settings already available have been updated with clearer instructions for use.

- Support for joining Teams meetings with CVI SIP information
Zoom customers that have Pexip services for Microsoft Teams “SIP Guest Join” may now configure the enhanced Zoom Connector calendar integration for managed SIP/H.323 room systems to use Pexip “SIP Guest Join” when one-click joining Microsoft Teams Meetings.

The Operational logs will now display changes made by admins to managed Cisco/Polycom (SIP/H.323) rooms. - Additional fields available when exporting rooms list
When exporting the list of managed rooms, additional fields will now be populated for Additional DTMF Commands and Hardware Version.

- Support for provisioning Trio C60 as a Zoom Rooms Controller
The enhanced Room Connector now supports provisioning the Poly Trio C60 in Zoom Rooms controller mode. Once provisioned these devices can be assigned to a Zoom Room for use.

The enhanced Zoom Connector for SIP/H.323 now supports batch deleting of the devices, room, and API Connectors in the Cisco/Polycom management section.
Changes to existing features
- Warning if the API Connector or runner version is too low
If the API Connector or runner version is below the latest version, a warning message will be displayed to administrators. If the API Connector or runner version is too low, there will be a warning message and a prompt to update.

- Sync with Zoom Room Scheduling display
If a room system has been provisioned with a calendar resource, and a Zoom Room Scheduling display has also been provisioned using the same calendar resource, if the users did not check in via the scheduling display but did join the meeting from the room system, then the room’s status will be considered checked-in. - Support for audio mute for Poly Trio devices
Provisioned Poly Trio devices now support syncing mute status between the Poly Trio and the Zoom in-meeting menu.

- Resolves an issue where the timezone setting would be out of sync for a provisioned room that has also been provisioned with a common area Zoom phone number.

- Multi-language calendar parsing for 3rd party meetings
The enhanced Zoom API Connector for SIP/H.323 now supports the parsing of calendar invites in multiple languages. This allows for one touch-join of 3rd party meetings, with a non-English invite.

- Create a generic SIP/H.323 Room with registration
Organizations can now register their devices with Zoom for use with the SIP Proxy, but without provisioning any settings to the device itself. This allows the device to join Zoom meetings via one-touch without having to be managed by Zoom. - Force update room connector
The enhanced room connector now supports auto-updating when a new version of the enhanced room connector is released.
Changes to existing features
- Reduce stored room connector log files
Admins can now disable full room connector logging. Once disabled, the room connector will only store necessary logging information, which minimizes storage use for log files. If necessary, full logging can be enabled for the room connector, which will then log and store all room connecter activities for troubleshooting purposes.

- Device firmware out of date notification
If a device’s firmware is multiple versions behind, admins will be prompted to update the firmware when viewing the device in the web portal. - Account-level settings for provisioned devices
Settings for devices provisioned using the enhanced Zoom Connector, can now be managed at the account level. This is to allow configuration changes to multiple devices simultaneously, instead of at the device level.

Support has been added for devices provisioned in Zoom, but registered to Webex. This allows the device to use the appropriate call protocol when joining Webex or Zoom meetings.

- DTMF command configuration setting for devices
A setting has been added to the device configuration page that allows the assigning of dial string commands, which will be used by the device when joining a meeting from the device, including using one-touch joining.
Changes to existing features
- Disabling of TLS 1.1
TLS 1.1 will be disabled on March 26, 2021, for the US West and all non-US data centers. This change will take effect for US East data centers on April 2, 2021. This change will impact all SIP/H.323 devices attempting to connect to a meeting that requires device encryption and all managed devices. This will be enforced for all device types: both managed with an API connector or unmanaged by Zoom. - Set passcode for a room’s Personal Meeting ID
Allows the ability to set the passcode for a room’s Personal Meeting ID, to be used in the dial string when an instant meeting is started from the room.
Note: This must be the same as the passcode set under the Personal Meeting Room settings of the Room’s Personal Meeting ID.

Starting January 18, 2021, new accounts provisioned with Cloud Room Connector licenses will automatically have access to the new enhanced Zoom API Room Connector for SIP/H.323 devices. Accounts with access to the new enhanced Zoom API Connector will also have a banner displayed at the top of the Cisco/Polycom room page with the following message: "You are using the enhanced Zoom Connector for SIP/H.323". - Enhanced certificate validation
The enhanced API connector TLS certificate validation has been improved to ensure the security of devices managed using the Zoom Connector for SIP/H.323Room Connector. A part of this change includes the option to manually load the trusted Zoom certificates if automatic loading and validation fail.
