Changing Zoom Phone notification settings
Account owners and admins can change account-level email notification settings that apply to the entire account.
Note: These settings are only available at the account level regardless of whether you have multiple sites enabled.

Prerequisites for changing email notification settings
- Pro, Business, or Education account
- Account owner or admin privileges
- Zoom Phone license
How to change email notification settings
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
- In the navigation menu, click Phone System Management, then Company Info.
- Click Account Settings.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Under Notifications, manage these settings:
- When Zoom Phone is activated: Notify the user when their Zoom Phone has been activated and access to the feature is available. Number assignments and PIN codes will be included.
Note: This change will be rolled out to accounts over time. - When assigning extension number to users: Click the toggle to enable or disable it. When enabled, the user who is assigned the extension number will be notified.
- When assigning new numbers or extensions to users: Click the toggle to enable or disable email notifications when you assign direct phone numbers to phone users or assign extension numbers to phone users. The user will be notified when new numbers or extensions are assigned after phone activation. This includes the welcome email that is sent when you assign a Zoom Phone license to a user. Additionally, if the user is assigned a pending number, the email will be sent when the number is officially ported to the user.
- When a desk phone is offline: Click View in Alerts & Notifications. You will be directed to the Zoom Phone tab on the Alerts & Notifications page to manage received email notifications when any provisioned desk phone is offline (disabled by default).
- Alert if there is a recording failure: Click the toggle to enable or disable when there is an automatic call recording failure (disabled by default). When enabled, specific users are notified if an automatic call recording failure occurs.
Note: This feature must be enabled by Zoom.
- Email Recipients: Configure the recipients who will receive email notifications.
- Click Set.
A pop-up window will appear. - In the window, enter the email addresses that will receive notifications.
- Click Save.
