Release notes for June 29, 2023
Resolved issues
- General fixes
- Incorrect video status when VDI users and newer Zoom clients participated in the same meeting
A condition was found where the video indication of newer Zoom clients incorrectly displayed the video status when the camera of VDI users was active. This condition was found to occur with the 5.13.10 or 5.13.11 plugin and the 5.13.10 or 5.13.11 VDI client. - Physical machine added as a remote desktop need to update mode when switching from remote to direct
An issue for physical machines added to a virtual environment. If a remote connection from a thin client with a VDI plugin was established and later the user logged directly into the physical machine, the mode was not switching into fallback. - No audio for Zoom Phone when switching to a remote session without a plugin
An audio issue has been resolved where users switched from a remote connection with a VDI plugin to another device without a plugin. The audio for Zoom Phone did not work in fallback mode until after joining a meeting or the client was restarted. - Video lost after VMware session minimized and then maximized
Users reported the video was not displayed in a second meeting if they minimized the VMware session and then maximized it before joining the second meeting. - Audio device selection not reselected after restarting VDI client
A problem has been fixed where the audio device selection for microphone and speaker was not being reselected after the VDI client was restarted.
- Windows fixes
- Improved error handling when validating codesign certificates
Improvements in error handling have been added when an investigation found an invalid certificate could cause a crash on Windows thin clients.
