Revolabs UC1000/1500 integration allows synchronization that is reflected equally across both the Revolabs UC1000/1500 as well as the Zoom Room iPad controller. With this synchronization, you can perform the following features that both devices will support during a Zoom Room meeting. Note: You do not need to use the the dialer for phone call since you can use the Zoom Rooms iPad controller as the dialer with PBX integration.
- Mute/Un-Mute (Zoom Rooms controller, Revolabs)
- Volume Slider (Zoom Rooms controller)
- Increase or decrease volume on speaker (Revolabs)
- Set the highly reverberant room option (requires Firmware 2.7 and higher)
Settings on the Revolabs 1000/1500 (will need to have a “dialer” connected to the FLX UC1000/1500). You do not need to use the the dialer for phone call since you can use the Zoom Rooms iPad controller as the dialer with PBX integration.
How to configure the integration
Change the USB Configuration
1. Press the Menu button on the dialer and go to Settings.
2. Select Admin Settings and enter the password (default pw “7386”).
3. Select USB Settings.
4. Set USB settings to Always Enabled.
Retrieve IP address for firmware update
1. Press the Menu button on the dialer and select Settings.
2. Select Admin Settings and enter the password (default pw “7386”).
3. Select IPv4 Settings.
4. Write down the IP Address of the unit.
Download the firmware
- Firmware latest files for FLX UC1000 (under Download)
- Firmware latest files for FLX UC1500 (under Download)
Install the firmware
1. Open a browser.
2. Enter IP address of FLX UC1000/1500.
3. Enter the password to gain access to the Revolabs FLX unit (default pw “7386”).
4. Mouse over Tools option and select the Update tab.
5. Drag and drop the firmware file to the box.
6. Click Update Firmware to begin the firmware update.
7. Upon reboot, Click Advanced Audio and select the Room Size, keep the Voice Enhance setting, and check Highly Reverberant Room.
