- Zoom Event Management System (EMS)
The Zoom EMS application seamlessly integrates with the 25 Live space and event scheduling system, generating Zoom meetings automatically from scheduled events. These created Zoom sessions can be automatically imported into the LMS classroom, encompassing all pertinent meeting configurations. The Zoom EMS application is available in Zoom Marketplace.
Changes to Existing Features
- Enhancements to the Zoom Phone Integration for LTI Pro
The Zoom Phone Integration for LTI Pro has been enhanced with the ability to hide the Group SMS feature, the Zoom Phone UI has been enhanced within Moodle LMS, as well as enhancements to the overall UI for the integration. - Accessibility improvements
The LTI Pro app has been enhanced to include support for screen reader accessibility.

The Zoom Phone integration for LTI Pro enables smooth operation of Zoom Phone within LTI Pro. With this integration, instructors and admins can effortlessly make and receive calls, view call history and recordings, and send and receive SMS messages.

- LTI Easy Scheduler Enhancement
Instructors can create schedules for virtual office hours, that are applicable across all their courses. These schedules, now designated as global schedules, ensure convenient access for students enrolled in various courses. - Accessibility Improvements
LTI Pro has been enhanced to include keyboard accessibility, enabling users to interact with the interface using their keyboards. Users can move around the page using the "Tab" key, select buttons using the “Enter” key, and toggle checkboxes using the “Spacebar” key. - LTI Admin Template Enhancement
The meeting template in LTI now supports the screen-sharing setting.

New and Enhanced Features
- Support for Zoom Whiteboard
LTI Pro now supports viewing, editing, and sharing of whiteboards from within an LMS. For instructors, this means the ability to create and share whiteboards directly with their classes. For LTI 1.3 users, a shared space called Projects will be created using the class roster, where all of the class content will reside. In addition, admins will have the ability to turn on/off the Whiteboard tab in the LTI Configure page of the LTI Pro tool.

- Zoom Room Tagging in LTI
Using the Zoom Room Tagging system, LTI Pro now supports a custom field to filter Zoom Rooms based on the tags. LTI Pro Admins will be able to filter the tags when utilizing LTI space scheduling, and only the tagged Zoom Rooms will be displayed during meeting cration.
Resolved Issues
- Resolved Issue related to edit and save settings in the Personal Meetings tab.
- Resolved issue in regards to prevention of meeting creation with a duration 0 minutes within LTI.
- Resolved an issue where a warning message was not generated when an attendance report was not generated completely.

New and Enhanced Features
- Group-Specific Meeting
The Canvas platform allows instructors to create and maintain different groups under an individual course. This feature is now supported with LTI Pro. With this new feature, instructors can invite only group members to meetings, rather than the entire course. Instructors can select a course group and create a Zoom meeting that only applies to that specific group.
Note: This feature is only available to the Canvas group. - Disable the Appointments for Easy Scheduler
The LTI Easy scheduler which was recently released now has the ability to turn on/off the Appointments tab in the LTI Pro tool by LTI Pro admins. - createAndAssociate API
With this API LTI Pro admins can programmatically create a Zoom meeting and auto-associate it with an LMS course. This API is a combination of Zoom's REST API (Create meeting) and the LTI Pro API (BulkImport).

- LTI Easy Scheduler
This feature focuses on providing an office hours, scheduling, and calendar system through the use of Zoom. Instructors can create, edit and publish their availability for office hours. Students can view active bookable schedules in their course and schedule 1:1 appointments with their instructors. Note: Schedules are set at the course level. Any appointments will be applied to that course only. - Meeting Connector LTI change
Accounts utilizing the Meeting Connector will now manage users at the account, group, or user profile level. If you have an existing account, utilizing the Meeting Connector module, the LTI configuration page will only show “Basic” and “Licensed” types under Auto provision - Recording Analytics in LTI
Now the meeting host can view analytics (page views and downloads) for a cloud recording that the host has shared within Zoom LTI. The recording metrics are available as Summary, By View, and By Download.
Note: This feature is only available for the meeting host - Schoology Calendar integration enhancement
With the latest release 365 calendar events can be created in Schoology - Custom Meeting Scheduler
Now LTI meeting scheduler supports scheduling meetings with custom minutes along the predefined 15-minute interval(0,15,30,45)
Resolved issues
- Issue related to LTI Pro no longer auto-assigning new alternative hosts to existing meetings are fixed.
- when LTI Pro displays the attendance grade report, if the student with a mixed case email, the report will miss the grade for that student. This issue is fixed.

- Enforce Scope
Admins can now enforce scopes that are associated with a feature that has been enabled by a user has, or the scopes that the user has selected from their platform. - Section selector for Section Aware
If enabled, allows instructors to add exceptions for allowing other course sections to see the recordings if necessary. - Viewer for Section Aware
A new field has been added under the schedule a meeting section called Add Viewers, for specifying which sections can view a recording. This field determines which sections can view the recording in the Cloud Recordings list (when the recording is published). Instructors can list up to 5 sections in the Add Viewers field. - Alternate host search by name
Auto-populate has been added as well as the search interface has been simplified for searching for an alternative host in the LTI meeting scheduler.

- Student role recieves the 40-minute limit reminder in the LTI meeting scheduler.

Zoom Meetings
- Multiple courses - You can assign meetings to multiple courses.
- Importing meetings - You can import existing meetings in one course to another course.
- Disassociating meetings - You can disassociate a meeting from any course without affecting the meeting list of other courses.
- Updating meetings - When you edit a meeting in one course, the integration automatically updates the meeting for all associated courses.
- Deleting meetings - When you delete a meeting in one course the integration automatically deletes it in all courses.
- Calendar and Conversations - The integration automatically creates Calendar and Conversations for each course.

Breakout rooms
You can pre-assign breakout rooms when scheduling meetings.
Admins can disable the feature for the account or user. When disabled, the screen does not display the option.
Note: Group permissions are currently not supported.

Authentication exception
- When scheduling meetings, you can select the Require authentication to join option to require users to be authenticated to join the meeting. The Authentication Exception feature enables you to make a case-by-case decision to allow specific users to join without being authenticated.
- The feature automatically sends invitation emails to all guests listed under Authentication Exception. The integration verifies their invitation upon joining the meeting; only invited guests can join.
- When you remove guests from the meeting list, the integration sends a cancellation email to the guest, and revokes their permission to join the meeting.
- For recurring meetings, the Authentication Exception applies to all occurrences. You can’t set authentication exceptions for individual meetings in the series.

- bulkImport - Use this endpoint to you to associate zoom meetings with courses in the LMS.
- bulkDisassociate - Use this endpoint to remove the association of the meetings to courses in the LMS.

Expanded capacity for LTI Pro configuration options:
- Approved domains may now take up to 1500 characters.
- Associated domains under third party credentials may take up to 1000 characters.

The May release for LTI Pro is available as of May 30, 2021. This release contains the following enhancements and bug fixes:
New and Enhanced Features
Multiple Language Support:
- You can now translate LTI Pro to any language supported by Zoom Web.
- LTI Pro uses the language in the user’s Zoom user account profile.
- Changing the language in LTI Pro also changes the language in the Zoom user account.
- If the user does not have a Zoom account, LTI Pro uses the language in their LMS user profile.
- LTI Pro stores the new language on the browser.
- LTI Pro uses English as the default language when no language can be determined.
Resolved issues
Assigning a user to a Zoom user group by LTI attribute will match if the config attribute value is a subset of the LTI request’s value.
Example:
- Config value of
“value1,value2”
will not match “value1”
from the LTI request. - Config value of
“value1”
will match “value1,value2”
from the LTI request. - Config value of
“value1,value2”
will match “value1,value2,value3”
from the LTI request.
Known Issues
This release has the following known issues:
- The Breakout Room pre-assign meeting option is not currently supported when scheduling a meeting with LTI Pro. Users have the following workarounds to enable this option:
- Schedule the meeting in LTI Pro and then log in to the Zoom portal to enable the option for the meeting.
- Schedule the meeting on the Zoom portal and then import the meeting into a course with LTI Pro.
- Changing the LTI Pro installer user role from Admin to Member on the Edit User page causes LTI Pro to stop working because the role will not have the necessary permissions.
- You can’t import meetings into LTI Pro that were created in an account that was merged into another account.
- You can’t edit single meetings within recurring meetings.
- Updates to meetings from the Zoom portal aren’t updated in LTI Pro Calendar events.
- The LTI Pro config page is not translated.

This release of the LTI Pro integration contains the following enhancements and bug fixes:
New and Enhanced Features
- Schoology Calendar Events:
- Configure Schoology to automatically create course events through the LTI Pro configuration page.
- Events are created when meetings are created in LTI Pro or imported.
- Events are deleted when meetings are deleted in LTI Pro, are disassociated in LTI Pro, or are deleted in Zoom Web.
- Events are updated when meetings are updated in LTI Pro
- Auto Login to Zoom via LMS IDP:
- Users are automatically logged in to their Zoom accounts when they are logged into the LMS via SSO and the LMS uses the same IDP for Zoom SSO login.
- Zoom account must support SSO and is configured to set the user’s email.
- Auto Login is configured through the LTI Pro configuration page.
- The user is an SSO user.
Bug Fixes
- Recordings with audio transcripts do not display audio transcript JSON file from the Cloud Recordings tab.
Known Issues
This release has the following known issues:
