The Zoom client now supports Dutch. By default, Zoom will match the operating system’s language if supported and users can manually select a language of their choice. -
Support for RelayState with SSO authentication - Window, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS
Zoom SSO authentication protocols have been enhanced to provide the ability for deep linking within SSO responses, ensuring users are authenticated before joining a meeting or viewing a cloud recording, as well as automatically authenticating on the client when launching the application. This feature must be enabled by Zoom. -
Reorder desktop client tabs - Windows, macOS
Desktop client users can adjust the order of product tabs on the desktop client, prioritizing the products they use the most. This can be done by dragging-and-dropping the tabs directly, or under the General tab of the client settings.

Screen share preview - Windows, macOS, Linux
When starting a share session, the sharer can hover their mouse near the floating toolbar and view a preview of the shared content other participants are seeing on their devices. This feature will not be immediately available, as it is dependent on a backend update currently scheduled for November 9, 2022. -
Enhanced participants list for multi-device users - Windows, macOS
When a user pairs the Zoom desktop or mobile app with a local Zoom Room or Zoom for Home device and joins a meeting or webinar, the Participants list will display these redundant attendees grouped and nested to better convey these associations between users and devices.

Enhanced formatting for in-meeting chat - Windows, macOS, Android, iOS
In-meeting chat is being enhanced to support more advanced forms of messaging, including in-line image previews, rich text formatting, screenshots, and message quoting. Messages can also be deleted after being sent. -
Support for up to 1000 participants in E2EE Meetings - Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS
End-to-end encrypted meetings can support up to 1000 total participants. Previously, the maximum was 200 participants. Large Meeting add-on requirements still apply. -
Pair with Zoom Room and transfer a live meeting - Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS
Pairing with a Zoom Room can also be initiated within the Zoom meeting window, facilitating easier transferring of that meeting to the local Zoom Room. Previously, you had to pair with a Zoom Room outside of an active meeting, before being able to transfer. This requires Zoom Room version 5.12.6 or higher.

Enhanced Whiteboard menu - Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS
The in-meeting menus have been updated, to more closely match the menus in the out-of-meeting whiteboard experience. This includes an improved right-click menu, additional editing options for shapes, and a pinch-to-zoom ability or zoom-in/zoom-out buttons on mobile.

Additional shapes are available for Whiteboard including more basic shapes, flowchart symbols, UML symbols, and equations. -
Follow along with presenter - Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS
When collaborating on a Whiteboard during a live meeting, participants can request to follow a specific editor or request all others to follow them. When following, your view of the canvas is tied to their view of the canvas. -
Rich-text options for text objects - Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS
In-meeting created text objects, sticky notes, and shapes can be more finely formatted with additional rich-text options, including bold, italics, underline, font size, bulleted and numbered lists, and more.

Multiple admins for a chat channel - Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS
Channel owners can designate up to 50 admins to help manage a chat channel. -
Support for messages only visible to you - Windows, macOS, Android, iOS
Some messages sent by Zoom Apps in Team Chat are marked Only visible to you. These messages are only visible to the specific user who triggered the actions because they are user-specific and not suitable for the wider audience. -
Scheduling a meeting through Zoom Team Chat - Windows, macOS
Zoom Team Chat users can schedule meetings directly within a chat channel, which will automatically invite all members of that chat channel to the resulting calendar event. This feature currently only supports the Contacts and Calendar integration with Google and requires version 5.11.3 or higher. -
Virtual background and touch up appearance support for Video Messaging - Windows, macOS, Android, iOS
When sending a Video Message in Zoom Chat, the user’s previously selected virtual background and their touch up setting are applied to the video. An option to open virtual background and filter settings is provided for quick access. This feature is available for all accounts, and no longer must be enabled by Zoom. The device must support the virtual background type you want to utilize. -
Get Started section for new Team Chat users - Windows, macOS, Linux
New users interacting with Team Chat for the first time are provided with a getting started guide to help them onboard with using Zoom Team Chat more efficiently.

Chat notifications for missed calls - Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS
With the power pack license, receptionists can quickly send a chat message to a recipient that missed a call. The receptionist can enable a setting to determine if the note happens during or after a call. If leaving a phone number in the note, it can be clicked to be dialed directly from the chat.

View and edit address book - Windows, macOS
Agents can access and navigate the address book from the Zoom desktop client. They can also initiate outbound engagements from address book contacts, and edit contact attributes for active/closed engagements. -
Mirror video - Windows, macOS
Agents and consumers can mirror their video during a video engagement. -
Release engagements back to queue - Windows, macOS
Agents or supervisors in an active manually routed voice or video engagement can release engagement back to the queue if needed. -
Enhancement to voice call transferring - Windows, macOS
When supervisors or agents transfer a voice call to another contact center user, they will be notified if the user is available. If the user isn’t available, they can transfer to a voicemail inbox accessible by the user (if applicable). -
Support for USB headsets - Windows, macOS
Supervisors and agents can use supported USB headsets to mute/unmute, accept, or adjust the volume during video engagements.
- SMS from voice engagement - Windows, macOS
Agents or supervisors can click SMS in the Profile tab to easily start a new SMS engagement while in an active voice engagement.

Zoom Apps for iOS - iOS
Users can now collaborate using Zoom Apps before, during, and after Zoom meetings. Zoom Apps must be installed through the Marketplace directly or on the desktop client, before they can be accessed on the mobile app. This requires version 5.12.6 and not all apps will be immediately available, as app developers must meet some additional requirements set by Apple.

When using Linux VDI plugins, devices with processors based on either the Intel Pentium Silver N6005 or AMD Ryzen3 3200G CPUs will have virtual background support enabled automatically.

Support for AWS VDI Plugin
Zoom supports Amazon's platform for connecting from their virtual desktop to a new VDI plugin that runs on the thin client. -
Auto-update for the VDI Zoom Meeting client
The Zoom Meeting client in the virtual desktop (host application) supports the fast and slow auto-update channels. This allows users to apply existing registry key values defined for the standard client that enable options for auto-update to the VDI Zoom Meeting client. Users can also enable the option to check for updates as well as download and install the newest update. -
Support for VDI plugin auto-update for Mac
This enhancement installs additional VDI plugin auto-update management software with the VDI plugin. This software, when enabled through a policy on the virtual desktop, will detect missing or out-of-date VDI plugins on a Mac. When a plugin needs to be installed or updated the new software will download and install a compatible version of the VDI plugin. -
Update VDI client uninstall string to support silent uninstall
Administrators can use a script to pull the uninstall string from the registry and add /q /qn for silent uninstall. -
Updated Zoom client icon for VDI
The icon for the VDI client has been updated with a new logo, consistent with Zoom’s new branding. -
Dutch Language Support
Dutch language for both the VDI Zoom Meeting client and VDI plugins has been added. -
Linux support for avatars
Users can select an avatar to represent themselves on-screen during meetings. Users can turn their avatar on or off at any time during a meeting. This also includes enhancements to audio-driven speech recognition that more closely lip syncs with the user’s voice and function whenever the user’s camera is on or off.

A problem was found and fixed where the audio device preference to use the same as the system was not being kept after joining and leaving a meeting. -
Zoom controls appearing as a gray bar during share
An issue was fixed where the Zoom control bar was seen as a gray area by other participants when sharing. -
Animated reactions improvements
An issue has been fixed when sending a reaction emoji during a webinar. -
Correction for button displayed in Zoom Events lobby
An issue was found with the button displayed for the Zoom Events lobby and was corrected to display an additional selection option only for the host and not for attendees. -
Crash when host share to breakout room
A crash has been fixed for when a host shares to a breakout room when a VDI user was already sharing in the breakout room.

Update user’s 3d avatar selection for Mac
An issue has been fixed where 3D avatar changes were not being applied after picking an initial avatar to use. -
VDI plugin connection changes for VMware Mac
An issue has been fixed where video window synchronization was not stable and the video window might not show on the screen for VMware plugin. -
Share Sound option for Mac users on Citrix
An issue was found and corrected where using the option to Share Sound was not sending audio for the Mac VDI plugin on both the Citrix and VMware platforms. -
Fix for breakout room video after enabling Stop Incoming Video
When a user selected Stop Incoming Video, and the user later joined a breakout room, the video from other participants was still being received. This problem has been resolved.

Application conflict when transferring log files on Linux
An issue was found and corrected to handle a conflict where starting the VDILogTool during an automatic transfer of a large DMP file could crash either the Citrix Workspace or VMware Horizon application.

A correction was made to update network information for Zoom Phone if the Wifi changed but the IP address did not change.

Support for six video streams with Smart Gallery - Win, Mac
The number of video streams a Zoom Room may transmit in multi-stream camera control mode is now configurable in the web portal, with a new maximum of six on supported hardware. Consult our guide to determine the maximum supported stream resolution for Windows and Mac Zoom Rooms based on their hardware capabilities. -
Companion mode enhancements - Win, Mac, Appliances, ZP appliances, iPad zr, iOS zrc, Android zrc, Win zrc, Web zrc
Users in companion mode who join a Zoom Room meeting will be displayed in the participant list nested under the Zoom Room’s entry, instead of as a separate entry. -
Support for 720p 60fps wired HDMI screen sharing - Win, iOS zrc, Android zrc, Win zrc, Web zrc
This option can be configured after enabling Optimize for video sharing on the room controller. Requires a wired HDMI sharing capture card supporting 60fps capture. -

When this feature is enabled in the web portal, the Zoom Room will periodically attempt to reconnect through a web proxy when it receives a Proxy Authentication Required response. The Zoom Room will display a notification while it is attempting to recover.
