Release notes for February 7, 2021
New and enhanced features
-
Support for dual screens
SIP/H.323 devices connected via the Cloud Room Connector can now view the Active Speaker layout on one screen while viewing the Gallery view layout on a second screen. If there are only two other participants in the meeting, both participants will be displayed separately on each screen. This can be enabled from within the in-meeting controls. -
Suppress on-screen menus option
The on-screen menus can now be suppressed by using “504” in the dial string. Once in the meeting, the menus can be toggled on or off by pressing “7”. This is useful for customers who have created macros using a Cisco Touch 10.
Changes to existing features
-
Support for Mute All and Unmute All
The Mute All/Unmute all functionality has been added to the Host menu, within the SIP/H.323 in-meeting controls. -
Support for forcing single-stream video/screen share
Support has been added for forcing video and screen share content as a single stream instead of a dual-stream when h.239 or BFCP is enabled. Single stream video can be forced by adding “505” into the dialing string when joining a meeting. -
UI change for Audio Mute and Video Mute icons
The design for the “Audio Muted” and “Video Muted” icons has been updated. The new icons appear in the upper right corner of the screen.
