With meeting assets, you can keep track of important meeting details before, during, and after the meeting in the Zoom client's Calendar tab and calendar side panel. Meeting assets show you the join status of each participant and links shared in the meeting chat, and allow you to playback a recording directly in the calendar event’s details.

Access meeting assets from the Zoom Calendar tab
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- In the top navigation menu, click More
, then click Calendar
. - Click the Calendar tab and view your events.
The Zoom Calendar client will appear, displaying your events. - Click a calendar event to see more details.
The calendar window will open and display the information for that calendar event.
Access meeting assets from the calendar side panel
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- In the top-right corner, click the calendar side panel icon
.
The calendar side panel will appear, displaying your events. - Click a calendar event to see more details.
The calendar window will open and display the information for that calendar event.
How to view meeting participants and RSVP statuses in the calendar event details
The host and invited users can see the participants list.
Notes:
- For invited users, it depends on the Google/Outlook setting on whether guests can see other guest names. If invitees cannot see the guest list in Google/Outlook calendars, then the number of attendees joined and the guest names will not be displayed.
- This feature is only for Zoom Meetings, not including PMI meetings.
To view meeting participants and RSVP statuses:
- Access meeting assets in the calendar event details.
- View the attendees' information:
- Name
- Email address
- Presence status
- Joined/Not Joined status
Note: You can view this during a Zoom meeting. During a Zoom meeting, this status will replace the RSVP mark with Joined as guests join the meeting. - Attendance response
Note: You can view this before and after a Zoom meeting.
This will display invited guests' current RSVP to the meeting, such as Yes, No, and Maybe.
How to access the in-meeting chat links from the calendar event details
After a meeting is over, you can access the set of links that were shared during the meeting within in-meeting chat from your calendar event’s details.
- Access meeting assets in the calendar event details.
- Under the Links from Meeting Chat section, access the shared links.
How to view the recording player in the calendar event details
After a meeting is over, you can play a cloud recording or local recording from your calendar event’s details.
If enabled, the cloud recording will be accessible to all participants via the meeting timeline. Information, such as cloud recording passcode and meeting topic, is also displayed.
View cloud recordings
- Access meeting assets in the calendar event details.
- In the Recordings section, click the Play button
on the recording to watch it in the calendar event details.
The recording player will appear. - (Optional) Click Copy recording link
to copy the recording link and password to your clipboard.
View local recordings
- Access meeting assets in the calendar event details.
- In the Recordings section, view the local recording.
The message, Your local recording will be ready soon, will be displayed. - On the local recording, click Convert now.
- After the local recording conversion, click the
icon to open the local recording in a new window. - (Optional) Under the local recording, click the local folder path for the converted recording.
