Zoom emails and marketing site changing from zoom.us to zoom.com

Over the coming months, Zoom is changing from zoom.us to zoom.com. This domain change will impact the following areas:

Importantly, although the email domain is changing from zoom.us to zoom.com, there will be no impact for customers. If a customer emails a Zoom employee at their old @zoom.us email, the email will be received by their new @zoom.com email. For a full list of changes, including areas that aren't impacted, see the table in the Understanding the changes and customer impacts section, below.

Frequently asked questions about the domain change

Why am I receiving emails from @zoom.com?

Emails from Zoom, such as emails from your Account Executive, will now come from an email address with the @zoom.com domain. Emails previously came from @zoom.us. These are both legitimate email addresses.

If I email a Zoom employee at their old email address with @zoom.us, will they still receive the email?

Yes, if you email a Zoom employee at their old email address with @zoom.us, it will be received by their new @zoom.com email.

If I have the website bookmarked with the old domain, will that link eventually break?

No. When Zoom’s marketing site migrates, Zoom customers can still go to assets with zoom.us and be redirected to zoom.com. Zoom.us will become an alias to the zoom.com site, so it will continue to function.

What changes do I need to make to my email filtering or spam system?

Ensure that your systems include ‘@zoom.com’ on your allow list where applicable (email filtering and spam systems). Learn more about allowing Zoom’s email addresses on your company’s email server.

What changes do I need to make to my network firewall?

While there are no immediate changes to Zoom's platform use of zoom.us, we recommend customers begin to prepare their network firewalls to allow connections to and from zoom.com, the same as they currently do for zoom.us.

Is this related to the Zoom Support Center domain change?

The maintenance to the Zoom Support Center on November 4, 2023, included a domain change in which the support site changed from support.zoom.us to support.zoom.com. While customers will be redirected to the support.zoom.com domain, we encourage you to update any bookmarks for pages on the Zoom Support site.
