Subscribing to article updates on Zoom Support


Zoom customers can subscribe to articles and receive email notifications when revisions to a subscribed article are published. For example, you can subscribe to the Zoom Software Quarterly Lifecycle Policy article to remain informed on our minimum version enforcements, or subscribe to release notes for the products you use, to help you stay up-to-date with the latest features, changes, and resolved issues for that product.

How to subscribe to article changes

Once you’re subscribed to an article, you will receive email notifications each time the article is updated, until you unsubscribe.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom Support site.
  2. Search for and open the article you want to subscribe to.
  3. To the right of the article title, click Subscribe.

    A notification banner will appear, informing you that you are now subscribed to the article.

How to unsubscribe from article changes

  1. Sign in to the Zoom Support site.
  2. Search for and open the article you want to unsubscribe from.
  3. To the right of the article title, hover over Subscribed and click Unsubscribe.

    A notification banner will appear, informing you that your subscription from this article has been removed.

Frequently asked questions about article subscriptions

I previously had the ability to subscribe to new article publications. What happened?

Prior to the Zoom Support site update on November 4, 2023, customers were able to subscribe to certain sections of articles, which allowed them to receive email notifications when a new article was published in that section. Now, customers can subscribe directly to articles, allowing them to receive email notifications each time article revisions are published.

If I was previously subscribed to articles or sections, will I need to resubscribe or will I be automatically subscribed?

Customers will need to resubscribe to any individual articles that they want updates for. Subscribing to an entire section on the support site is not available.

I was previously notified when a Preview Notes article was published. If I can’t subscribe to sections of articles anymore, how will I be notified of new Preview Notes articles?

For account owners and admins, we understand how important it is to receive timely notifications about Preview Notes for the Zoom products you use. To accommodate for the inability to subscribe to new article publications for an entire section, we have published an article for each Preview Notes product category, which we will update every time we publish a new article in that section.

For example, you can subscribe to Zoom Meetings and Webinars Preview Notes Availability, which is updated monthly to include a link to that month's newly published Preview Notes.

Are there specific articles I can or cannot subscribe to?

No, you can subscribe to any article on the Zoom Support site and be notified when an update is published.

While you can subscribe to any article on Zoom Support, here are a few suggestions to get started:

Is there a central place I can manage my article subscriptions?

No, not at this time.

Will I be able to see what specific changes were made to an article I’m subscribed to?

No, you’ll only receive an email notification informing you that the article you are subscribed to was revised.
