The Recording Hybrid services allow users to record Hybrid and Private meetings, stream the recordings from within the Zoom Web portal, transfer cloud recordings to on-premise storage, and archive meetings for regulated users.
With the Meeting Recorder service, Zoom Meetings Hybrid module users can record their private meetings and store recordings locally using on-premise storage (NFS) connected to the Zoom Node server. This can be useful when it is necessary to record meetings, but need an alternative to recording to Zoom's Cloud or saving the recording to a local device. The Hybrid Transfer Service can be deployed to transfer cloud recording data to the NFS storage.
In addition to the Meeting Recorder service, users can also deploy the Content Streamer service to allow users to replay recordings and legacy in-meeting chats generated during hybrid meetings within their browser from the Cloud recordings section of their Zoom Web portal. The Streamer Load Balancer can be deployed if multiple Content Streamers are utilized.
Organizations can also deploy the Archiver service, which allows archival support for private meetings hosted using the Zoom Meetings Hybrid module via the Zoom Recording Hybrid service. This enables the Zoom Recording Hybrid service to automatically record the meeting and store the recording on the organization's Network File System (NFS) when a regulated user joins a private meeting. The archival data is accessible through the Archival API for download by compliance solutions, such as Zoom Compliance Manager.
Note: The Content Steamer service can support up to 1000 Streaming sessions when deployed on a Node Server based on the minimum system requirements for deploying for Recording services.
