Configuring wayfinding for Workspace Reservation
Wayfinding adjusts directions based on whether a user is checked in to a workspace. When a user is checked in to a desk or room, directions start from that current location. This means navigation reflects where the user is already located in the office rather than defaulting to an entrance. In these cases, the route is generated from the checked-in workspace to the selected destination.
Users can also view alternative routes that start from building entrances. These provide additional options for how to reach a destination and can be used for reference alongside the route from the current location.
If a user is not checked in to any workspace, directions start from the building entrance by default. If the user has a reservation, they may also be able to view directions starting from that reserved workspace, but entrance-based routing remains the default starting point when no check-in is active.
