Enabling Call summary with AI Companion
Account owners and admins can control the use of Call summary with AI Companion feature to generate summaries of phone calls in their accounts. After the call, the summary is available in both the Zoom Workplace app and the web portal. Users can also ask questions during the call and get real-time answers from Companion based on the ongoing conversation. Preset prompts are provided, such as "Summarize this call so far.", "What are the action items?", "Who is responsible for the tasks mentioned?", and "Summarize the decisions made.", which can be useful for catching up when you join late or return after stepping away from the phone call. More specific custom questions are also possible.
This feature uses AI technology, which may include third-party models, and allows Zoom Phone users to initiate an AI-generated call summary. At the end of the call, the summary is automatically accessible through the user’s call history logs in the Zoom app or web portal and can be edited and emailed.
