Using Voicemail Tasks with AI Companion

When Voicemail Tasks with AI Companion is enabled, you can access a summarized list of tasks from your voicemail transcription to promptly identify important tasks.

Additionally, when Automatically generate tasks from voicemail transcription is enabled, you can create Zoom Tasks directly from your voicemail transcriptions using AI-powered extraction capabilities. The feature provides a UI button and right-click option on voicemails to generate recommended tasks, with extracted tasks appearing in the main Tasks product list. This feature must be enabled by Zoom.

How to access your voicemail tasks generated by AI Companion

Voicemail tasks generated by AI Companion are only accessible in the Zoom desktop or mobile app.

Windows | macOS | Linux
  1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop app.
  2. Click the Phone tab .
  3. Click the Voicemail tab.
  4. Click your voicemail, then to the right of Transcription, click View task .
  5. In the dialog window, review the task to make sure it’s accurate, then click Confirm.
  6. (Optional) In the box, adjust your task as needed, then click Add.
  7. (Optional) At the bottom of the task, click Edit, then Confirm to repeat the editing process if you are not satisfied with the content, then click Save.
  8. (Optional) At the bottom of the task, click Open in Tasks, then do the following:
    1. View the generated task in Zoom Tasks.
    2. Edit the details.
    3. Click Accept.
      The task will be accepted and added to My tasks in Zoom Tasks.
Android | iOS
  1. Sign in to the Zoom mobile app.
  2. Tap the Phone tab .
  3. Tap the Voicemail tab.
  4. Tap your voicemail.
  5. Under Transcription, tap View task .
  6. In the dialog window, review the task to make sure it’s accurate, then tap Confirm.
  7. (Optional) In the box, adjust your task as needed, then tap Add.
  8. (Optional) At the bottom of the task, tap Edit, then tap Confirm to repeat the editing process if you are not satisfied with the content, then tap Save.
  9. (Optional) At the bottom of the task, tap Open in Tasks, then do the following:
    1. View the generated task in Zoom Tasks.
    2. (Optional) Tap the task to edit its details.
    3. Tap Accept to accept the task and add it to My tasks in Zoom Tasks.
