Enabling Voicemail Prioritization with AI

Account owners and admins can enable or disable the Voicemail Prioritization with AI feature for their accounts. This feature uses AI technology, which may include third-party models, and allows Zoom Phone users to prioritize their voicemails. Users can define a topic or intent that the system will use to organize their incoming voicemails in order of priority.

Note: Zoom AI features may not be available for select verticals and select regional customers.

How to enable and disable Voicemail Prioritization with AI

Account owners and admins can enable or disable Voicemail Prioritization with AI at the account, group, site, and user levels.

Note: After disabling this feature, you can hide or show Voicemail Prioritization with AI in Zoom Phone.

Account

To enable or disable Voicemail Prioritization with AI for all users in the account:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Admin Center.
  3. In the side menu, click Settings , then click Zoom Phone.
  4. Under Phone AI, click the Voicemail Prioritization with AI toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
  6. (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing this setting, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Group

To enable or disable Voicemail Prioritization with AI for a group of users:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal  as an admin with the privilege to edit groups.
  2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Admin Center.
  3. In the side menu, click Users then Groups.
  4. Click the applicable group name from the list.
  5. Click the Zoom Phone tab.
  6. Under Phone AI, click the Voicemail Prioritization with AI toggle to enable or disable it.
  7. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
    Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at the account level and needs to be changed at that level.
  8. (Optional) To prevent all users in the group from changing this setting, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Site

To enable or disable Voicemail Prioritization with AI for a site:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit sites.
  2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Admin Center.
  3. In the side menu, click Product configuration, then click Phone System Management, followed by Company Info.
  4. Click the applicable site name from the list.
  5. Click the Policy tab.
  6. Under Phone AI, click the Voicemail Prioritization with AI toggle to enable or disable it.
  7. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
    Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at the account level and needs to be changed at that level.
  8. (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing this setting, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Phone user

To enable or disable Voicemail Prioritization with AI for a phone user:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit phone users.
  2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Admin Center.
  3. In the side menu, click Product configuration, then click Phone System Management, followed by Users & Rooms.
  4. Click the Users tab.
  5. Click the applicable phone user name from the list.
  6. Click the Policy tab.
  7. Under Phone AI, click the Voicemail Prioritization with AI toggle to enable or disable it.
  8. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
    Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at the account, group, or site level and needs to be changed at that level.

How to hide or show Voicemail Prioritization with AI in Zoom Phone

  1. Disable Voicemail Prioritization with AI at the desired level.
    The Shown in Zoom Phone setting will appear.
  2. To the right of Shown in Zoom Phone, click Hide.
    The setting will change to Hidden in Zoom Phone. Users will not be able to utilize the clear call-to-action buttons in Zoom Phone to request admin enablement for this feature.
    1. (Optional) To the right of Hidden in Zoom Phone, click Show.
      If this feature is shown in Zoom Phone, users can request that you enable this feature. Clear call-to-action buttons allow users to request an admin to enable Voicemail Prioritization with AI.
  3. Click Save.

How to manage feature requests using the Feature Enablement Requests page

Note: First, you must disable Voicemail Prioritization with AI at the desired level and make sure that Voicemail Prioritization with AI is shown in Zoom Phone.
