When enabled by admins, the Summarize SMS threads with AI Companion feature allows Zoom Phone members of call queues and auto-receptionists with Power Pack licenses to generate a summarization for their SMS thread to quickly understand the conversation and generate their response.

• Power Pack license
  Note: AI Companion may not be available for select verticals and select regional customers.
• Summarize SMS Threads with AI Companion enabled for a call queue or auto receptionist
• SMS enabled for a call queue or auto-receptionist
• Zoom Desktop app
  • Windows: 5.17.5 or higher
  • macOS: 5.17.5 or higher
  • Linux: 5.17.5 or higher
• Zoom mobile app
  • Android: 5.17.5 or higher
  • iOS: 5.17.5 or higher

Limitations of Summarize SMS Threads with AI Companion

• Summarize SMS Threads with AI Companion is only supported in English at this time.
• Use of Summarize SMS Threads AI Companion is not available in all countries.
• Summarize SMS Threads with AI Companion is only supported for call queues and auto-receptionists only.
• Not supported for individual or group SMS at this time.

How to use Summarize SMS Threads with AI Companion

1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop or mobile app.
2. Click the Phone tab  .
3. Click the SMS tab.
4. In the text box, click the Summarize with AI Companion icon  .
   The summary will display within a few seconds after clicking the icon.
   Note: You can generate a summary for an SMS thread that happened in the last 24 hours.
5. (Optional) In the dialog box, click Copy to copy the summary to paste it where you need.
6. (Optional) Click the Summarize with AI Companion icon  again to regenerate the summary if you are not satisfied with what was generated.
