Enabling and managing meeting wallpapers


Admins can enable the use of meeting wallpapers and which default images are provided by admins. If allowed by admins, meeting hosts can customize the wallpaper in their meeting, adding more color and customization to their meeting. The host or co-host can choose from preset images provided by Zoom or those uploaded by account admins. With a selection made, they can also adjust how much to blend the participant videos with the wallpaper image.

Account

To enable or disable meeting wallpapers for all users in the account:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Advanced), click the Meeting wallpapers toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. If a verification dialog displays, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
  6. (Optional) Click Manage X meeting wallpapers to manage the default images available for use in meetings.

How to upload and manage default meeting wallpapers

When meeting wallpapers is enabled, admins can also provide additional images to be included for users on the desktop app, in addition to the defaults provided by Zoom. These images must be JPG/JPEG or 24-bit PNG with a maximum size of 15 MB. The recommended resolution is 1920x1080px.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Advanced), ensure Meeting wallpapers is enabled and click Manage X meeting wallpapers.
    An upload window will appear.
  5. Drag-and-drop images or click Choose Files to use the system file picker to select images.
    The files will be uploaded and thumbnails are added to the bottom of the list.
  6. (Optional) Hover your cursor over the image and click the X that appears to remove an uploaded image.
    The default images provided by Zoom cannot be removed.
