Configuring time zone settings for Workspace Reservation


Account owners and admins can configure time zone settings for individual location levels, rooms, and workspaces. Admins can tailor time zone settings to match each location, room, and workspace location. This provides more flexibility and accuracy for features that rely on time zone data, like neighborhoods. Users will benefit from time zone information that better reflects their actual workspace.

How to configure time zone settings for Workspace Reservation

Account

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Workspaces Management then Workspaces.
  3. Under Location Directory, click All Locations then Account Settings.
  4. Under Basic, under the Time Zone setting, click the dropdown menu to set a time zone for Zoom Rooms, Workspace, and Visitor Management.
    Note: Changing the time zone may affect the associated features and displays. Please change with caution.
  5. Click Save.

Location hierarchy

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Workspaces Management then Workspaces.
  3. Use location hierarchy to access the hierarchy level you want to enable this setting for (country/region, state, city, campus, building, floor, or workspace).
  4. Click Settings for that location or workspace to enable it for the location or workspace.
  5. Under Basic, under the Time Zone setting, click the dropdown menu to set a time zone for Zoom Rooms, Workspace, and Visitor Management.

  6. Click Save.
