Using Zoom Revenue Accelerator deal risk signals


Users can subscribe to deal-specific risk signals such as lack of engagement activity or missing keywords at the deal close. These risk indicators will be displayed in both the Deals tab and the Deals detail page.

How to subscribe to deal risk signals

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Revenue Accelerator then click Deals.
  3. Click the Open Deals tab.
  4. To the right of the Customer & Deal that you want to subscribe to, under the Risk Signals column, click the deal risk signal icon.
    A panel will appear, displaying a list of the deal's risk signals.
  5. In the top-right corner of the panel, click Subscribe.
    A pop-up window will appear.
  6. In the window, select from the following options:
    • Receive dashboard notification
    • Receive email notification
      • After selecting the email notification option, under Subscription Email Cadence, click the dropdown menu and select the email notification cadence for Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  7. Click Subscribe.

By subscribing, you will receive risk signal updates about the deal.

How to manage your deal risk signal subscriptions

Manage risk signal subscriptions in User Settings

To configure Deal Risk Signals for your own use:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Settings.
  3. Click the Revenue Accelerator tab.
  4. Under Notifications, locate the Deal Risk Signals setting.
  5. Under the Deal Risk Signals setting, click the Manage Subscriptions.
    You will be directed to the Manage Deal Risk Signal Subscriptions page.
  6. To the right of a risk signal subscription you want to manage, select from the following actions:
    • Manage Subscription: Select from the following options, then click Subscribe:
      Note: By subscribing, you will receive risk signal updates about the deal.
      • Receive dashboard notification
      • Receive email notification
        • After selecting the email notification option, under Subscription Email Cadence, click the dropdown menu and select the email notification cadence for Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
    • Unsubscribe: In the confirmation window, click Unsubscribe.
      By unsubscribing, you will no longer receive any future risk signals regarding the deal.

Manage risk signal subscriptions in the Deals tab

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Revenue Accelerator then click Deals.
  3. Click the Open Deals tab.
  4. To the right of the Customer & Deal that you are subscribed to, under the Risk Signals column, click the deal risk signal icon.
    A panel will appear, displaying a list of the deal's risk signals that you are subscribed to.
  5. In the top-right corner of the panel, click the Subscribed dropdown, then choose from the following actions:
    • Manage Subscription: Select from the following options, then click Subscribe:
      Note: By subscribing, you will receive risk signal updates about the deal.
      • Receive dashboard notification
      • Receive email notification
        • After selecting the email notification option, under Subscription Email Cadence, click the dropdown menu and select the email notification cadence for Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
    • Unsubscribe: In the confirmation window, click Unsubscribe.
      By unsubscribing, you will no longer receive any future risk signals regarding the deal.

How to use deal risk signal action items

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Revenue Accelerator then click Deals.
  3. Click the Open Deals tab.
  4. To the right of the Customer & Deal that you want to subscribe to, under the Risk Signals column, click the deal risk signal icon.
    A panel will appear, displaying a list of the deal's risk signals.
  5. In the panel, under the risk signal, use the following actions:
    1. Click Dismiss. If a confirmation window appears, click Dismiss to confirm.
      Note: Dismissing this risk signal will remove it from the current deal for everyone.
    2. If you have an integrated CRM, click View in CRM.
    3. Click Show Activities to view the risk signal's activity.

How to manage risk signal criteria

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Revenue Accelerator then click Deals.
  3. Click the Open Deals tab.
  4. To the right of the Customer & Deal that you want to subscribe to, under the Risk Signals column, click the deal risk signal icon.
    A panel will appear, displaying a list of the deal's risk signals.
  5. At the top of the panel, click Manage Risk Signal Criteria.
    You will be directed to the deal risk signal configuration page.
  6. To the right of No Recent Activities, click the toggle to enable or disable it.
    Enable the toggle when a deal has no activity for a specified time period.
    1. Click the Deal stage dropdown menu to apply a filter.
    2. To the right of No activity for, enter the number of days of inactivity.
    3. (Optional) Click Add Rule to add another rule.
    4. (Optional) Click the trash icon to remove a rule.
  7. To the right of Stalled In Stage, click the toggle to enable or disable it.
    Enable this toggle when a deal has no deal stage change for a specified time period.
    1. Click the Deal stage dropdown menu to apply a filter.
    2. To the right of Stalled for, enter the number of days that the deal had no change.
    3. (Optional) Click Add Rule to add another rule.
    4. (Optional) Click the trash icon to remove a rule.
  8. To the right of Lapsed Close Date, click the toggle to enable or disable it.
    Enable this toggle when a deal close date is in the past.
  9. To the right of Need More Contacts, click the toggle to enable or disable it.
    Enable this toggle when not enough external contacts are tied to the deal.
    1. Click the Deal stage dropdown menu to apply a filter.
    2. Click the External contacts dropdown menu to select if the external contacts are tied to the deal in the CRM or attended meetings or phone calls.
    3. Click the Less than dropdown menu to select the number of contacts.
    4. (Optional) Click Add Rule to add another rule, and select Or or And.
    5. (Optional) Click the trash icon to remove a rule.
  10. To the right of No Decision Maker, click the toggle to enable or disable it.
    Enable this toggle when a deal has no active prospects with the specified title.
    1. Click the Deal stage dropdown menu to apply a filter.
    2. Click the Prospect Title dropdown menu to apply a filter.
  11. To the right of Topic or Indicator Not Mentioned, click the toggle to enable or disable it.
    Enable this toggle when predefined topics or indicators are not addressed during specified stages of a deal.
    1. In the Keyword Phrases, Topics or Indicators field, search for and enter keyword phrases, topics, or indicators.
      Note: The risk signal will not be triggered if any of the entered keyword phrases, topics, or indicators are mentioned in the specified deal stages.
    2. Click the Not mentioned dropdown menu to select that a deal is not mentioned In the specified deals stages or When the deal is closing in.
      • When the When the deal is closing in option is selected, enter a number in the field below the dropdown menu.
      • When the In the specified deals stages option is selected, click the Select Stages dropdown menu to apply filters.
  12. Click Save.
