Configuring data redaction settings for Zoom Revenue Accelerator

As a Zoom Revenue Accelerator admin, you can manage the Sensitive Data Redaction settings and select the type of data to be redacted. This setting is disabled by default and enabling the setting will redact sensitive data in conversation transcripts, summaries, next steps and good questions. Redaction will not impact historical data and all redacted information will appear as asterisks (*****) and cannot be restored but will still be audible in recording playback.

How to enable the Sensitive Data Redaction settings 

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Revenue Accelerator tab.
  4. Under More Settings, click the Sensitive Data Redaction toggle to enable or disable it.
    Note: This setting will be ON for all groups and users. Settings that had been previously changed for groups or users will be kept as is.
  5. If a verification dialog displays, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.

How to configure the sensitive data to be redacted

You can select the categories of sensitive data to redact.

Note: Despite being redacted, the information will still be audible in recording playback.

  1. Enable the Sensitive Data Redaction settings.
  2. Under Sensitive data to be redacted, click Configure.
  3. Select the All sensitive data checkbox or select from the category listed. The list includes:
