Enabling or disabling Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion

Account owners and admins can control the use of AI Companion to generate and revise content within Zoom Docs on their accounts. This feature uses AI technology, which may include third-party models and can be enabled at the account and group levels. To prevent users from using the feature, it can be hidden and locked at the account level, preventing users from accessing it.

Notes:

• AI Companion for Zoom Docs is included in Pro, Pro Plus, Business, Business Plus, and Enterprise plans. AI Companion features may not be available for all regions and industry verticals.

Prerequisites for enabling or disabling Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion

• Pro, Pro Plus, Business, Business Plus, Education, or Enterprise account
  Note: Basic accounts may have the option to enable AI features, but these features will not be accessible until the account is upgraded to a Pro account.
• Account owner or admin privileges
• Zoom Docs enabled by admin

How to enable or disable Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion

Enabling this feature allows your users to generate and revise content within their Zoom docs. You can hide this feature if you don’t want them to use AI for content.

Enable or disable Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion at the account level

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. Click Account Management, then Account Settings.
3. Click the AI Companion tab.
4. Click Docs to navigate to the section.
5. Click the Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion toggle to enable or disable the option.
6. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
7. (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing these settings, click the lock icon  , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Hide Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion

You can disable AI Companion to prevent your users from generating and revising content in Zoom Docs. When you disable this feature, it applies to the entire account and cannot be applied at the group or user level.

1. Follow the above section to disable Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion, then to the right of Shown in Docs, click Hide.
2. Click Save.
   AI Companion will not be available for users to generate and revise content in Zoom Docs.

Show Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion

If you hide AI Companion to prevent your users from generating and revising content in Zoom Docs but desire to make the feature visible follow these steps. When you enable this feature, it applies to the entire account.

1. Follow the above section to enable Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion, then to the right of Shown in Docs, click Show.
2. Click Save.
   AI Companion will be available for users to generate and revise content in Zoom Docs.

Enable or disable Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion at the group level

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. In the navigation menu, click User Management then Groups.
3. Click the applicable group name from the list.
4. Click the AI Companion tab.
5. Click Docs to navigate to the section.
6. Click the Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion toggle to enable or disable the option.
