Using no-hold conference and DTMF for multi-party calls
When the No hold conference option is enabled for multi-party conference calls, users can add a call without putting the existing call on hold. This feature allows users to set up a conference call without any interruption in the current call. The current call participants can hear a ringtone when the outbound call is in dialing status, and they can also leave a voicemail if the new caller is not available to join.
Additionally, when the Conference DTMF setting is enabled for multi-party conference calls, users can interact with automated systems, input access codes, or perform other functions without disrupting the call. When they add other participants to a call, the current callers will hear the dialing, DTMF, and voicemail associated with the new call process.
These functionalities are available for regular conference calls (not conference barge) and the Zoom app.
Notes:
- You cannot park the call.
- You cannot transfer the call to another phone number.
