Configuring Zoom and Microsoft presence synchronization

Presence synchronization between Zoom and Microsoft allows users to have their Zoom presence reflected in Microsoft 365 and vice versa. This capability requires users to authenticate and authorize their Microsoft account through the Zoom web portal. This allows the integration to synchronize bi-directionally user's Zoom Presence to/from Microsoft and reflected in apps like Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and more.

When a user joins a Zoom Meeting for instance, they will see their presence in Zoom as In a Zoom Meeting and reflected as In a Call in Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 applications like Outlook, SharePoint and more. Zoom and Microsoft presence synchronization is also supported in Zoom Web App, Personal Zoom Room, and Zoom Phone Appliances.
