Enabling or disabling Docs sentence completion with AI Companion
Account owners and admins can control the use of AI to provide predictive suggestions while writing content. This feature uses AI technology, which may include third-party models and can be enabled at the account and group levels.

Prerequisites for enabling or disabling Docs sentence completion with AI Companion
- Pro, Pro Plus, Business, Business Plus, Education, or Enterprise account
Note: Basic accounts may have the option to enable AI features, but these features will not be accessible until the account is upgraded to a Pro account. - Account owner or admin privileges
- Zoom Docs enabled by admin
How to enable or disable Docs sentence completion
Enabling this feature allows your users to have predictive writing suggestions appear while writing content using AI Companion.
Enable or disable Docs sentence completion at the account level
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click Account Management, then Account Settings.
- Click the AI Companion tab.
- Click Docs to navigate to the section.
- Click the Docs sentence completion with AI Companion toggle to enable or disable the option.
- If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
- (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing these settings, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.
Enable or disable Docs sentence completion at the group level
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click User Management, then Account Settings.
- Click the applicable group name from the list.
- Click the AI Companion tab.
- Click Docs to navigate to the section.
- Click the Docs sentence completion with AI Companion toggle to enable or disable the option.
- If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
