Enabling or disabling AI Companion features using the universal toggle

Account owners and admins of select Zoom Workplace Pro and Workplace Business accounts can enable or disable several AI Companion features using the AI Companion universal toggle within the Web Portal. The universal toggle is available at the Account level settings. Users in the account will still be in control of when the AI Companion gets used.

How to enable or disable several AI Companion features using the universal toggle

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the AI Companion tab.
  4. Click the AI Companion toggle  to enable or disable it.
  5. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
  6. (Optional) Under Auto-start in meetings for all account users (optional), select the Meeting questions checkbox.
    Note: Enabling this option allows meeting participants to ask AI Companion questions about the content of the meeting based on the meeting transcript. Learn more about using in-meeting questions.
  7. (Optional) Under Auto-start in meetings for all account users (optional), select the Meetings summary checkbox.
    Note: Enabling this option allows participants to automatically receive an AI-generated meeting summary after the meeting has ended. Learn more about using meeting summaries.
  8. Click Save.
  9. (Optional) Click Manage all settings to configure feature-level preferences for Meeting Summary with AI Companion,In-meeting questions with AI Companion, and other AI Companion features.
