Deploying the Conference Room Connector Hybrid module
The Conference Room Connector (CRC) Hybrid module, deployed on Zoom Node, provides services equivalent to the (legacy) Virtual Room Connector virtual machine (VM). The CRC Hybrid module running on Zoom Node acts as an on-premises gateway for H.323 and SIP devices to join Zoom meetings. The CRC Hybrid module is deployed from the Zoom administration web portal Zoom Node management but is configured and managed in the Zoom administration web portal in the same manner as the (legacy) Virtual Room Connector VM.
The Zoom Node Conference Room Connector Hybrid module requires a greater amount of system resources than a standard Zoom Node deployment. Also, the CRC Hybrid module must be the only module deployed on a Zoom Node - do not deploy any other modules on the same Zoom Node server with a CRC Hybrid module. If deploying multiple CRC Hybrid modules, each instance must be deployed on its own Zoom Node. Consult the system requirements for the Zoom Node Conference Room Connector Hybrid module for more information.
While not necessary, it is recommended that a Hybrid Room load balancer be deployed if multiple instances of the CRC Hybrid module are deployed. In addition, if multiple instances of the CRC Hybrid module are deployed, each instance must be run on a separate Zoom Node server that meets the system requirements for the Zoom Node Conference Room Connector Hybrid module.
Prerequisites for deploying the Zoom Conference Room Connector Hybrid module

- Under Max H.323/SIP Connections, set the number of room systems that can connect to meetings via the CRC Hybrid service at one time.
Note: This can be set with a range of 2-14 connections. - (Optional) Under Hybrid Room Loadbalancer, select a load balancer if you have already deployed one.
- (Optional) Next to the Internal domain, enter the prefix if Zoom is generating the certificate.
- (Optional) Click Enable NAT Mode to enable network address translation.
