Deploying the Hybrid Room Load Balancer service

With the Hybrid Room Load Balancer service, administrators can deploy multiple Conference Room Hybrid service instances and utilize the load balancer service to route connecting calls to the Conference Room Connector Hybrid instances.

How to deploy a Hybrid Room Load Balancer service

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Node Management, then click Modules.
  3. Click the drop-down button , and click Zoom Node - Hybrid Room Interoperability.
  4. On the Services tab, click Add Services.
  5. Click Hybrid Room Load Balancer
  6. Under Install on a node, select the server you want to deploy the service on. 
  7. Under Internal IP, enter the internal IP configured for the service. 
  8. Under Certificate settings set how the certificates will be managed:
  9. (Optional) Next to Internal domain, enter the prefix if Zoom is generating the certificate. 
  10. (Optional) Click Enable NAT Mode to enable network address translation. 
  11. (Optional) Under External IP enter the external IP address for the Multimedia router.
    Note: This setting is required if Enable NAT Mode is enabled.
  12. (Optional) Under Customized Configuration, enable additional features via key values.
  13. Click Add.
    The Hybrid Room Loadbalancer service will begin the installation. 
  14. Once installation is complete, click on the Services tab.
  15. Next to the new Hybrid Load Balancer service, click Start.

How to assign a Hybrid Room Load Balancer 

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Node Management, then click Modules.
  3. Click the drop-down button , and click Zoom Node - Hybrid Room Interoperability.
  4. On the Services tab, click the Name of the desired CRC Hybrid instance.
  5. On the service’s overview page, click Configure.
  6. Under Hybrid Room Load Balancer, select the desired load balancer.
  7. Click Configure.

How to enable the Hybrid Room Load Balancer

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Room Management, then click H.323/SIP Room Connector.
  3. Click the Virtual Room Connector tab.
  4. Under Enable the load balancer for Virtual Room Connectors, add the address of the Hybrid Room Load Balancer.
