Creating and managing custom shapes in Zoom Whiteboard
The My Saved Shapes feature in Zoom Whiteboard allows users to save any object or group of objects on the canvas as a custom shape. This feature supports the bulk uploading of icons in SVG format, enabling users to leverage official and on-brand icons in their diagrams. How to create and save a custom shape in Zoom Whiteboard
- Create or open an existing whiteboard.
- Select the object(s) you wish to save as a custom shape.
- Right-click the selected object and select Save to my shapes, or drag the shape directly into the Shapes menu.
How to add custom shapes to the canvas
Custom shapes are accessible from the Shapes menu.
- In the toolbar on the left side of the screen, click the Shape icon to open the Shapes menu, then select All shapes.
- Click or drag a custom shape onto the canvas.
How to bulk upload SVG icons
- In the toolbar on the left side of the screen, click the Shape icon , then select All Shapes.
- At the bottom of the Shapes menu, click Manage shapes.
- In the Manage Shapes panel at the top left, click the Upload button.
- Select the SVG files you want to upload.
- (Optional) After the upload is complete, rename the shapes as needed.
