Using Zoom Rooms with macOS Sequoia

Issue

Certain Zoom Rooms features, such as Airplay aka 'Screen Mirroring', Dante, Network Device Interface, and Native Room Controls, do not work properly after upgrading to macOS Sequoia.

Environment

This issue occurs on devices running macOS Sequoia. Although there is a solution to this problem, upgrading Zoom Rooms devices to macOS Sequoia is not currently recommended by Zoom.

Cause

The Zoom Rooms app is considered "always on" while it's running on a macOS device, so pop-ups requesting the appropriate permissions to be enabled for these features will not appear.

Resolution

Exit the Zoom Rooms app and navigate to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network. You will see a list of all apps that have requested permissions. Click the toggle next to the Zoom Rooms features you like to grant permissions to.

Note: You will need to grant these features permissions even if they were enabled before the OS upgrade.
