Managing Points of Interest (POIs) in Workspace Reservation

Admins can create Points of Interest (POIs) on floor maps, which represent non-bookable areas. Admins can assign names to these Points of Interest (POIs), choose an icon or shape to represent them and position them on the map visually. Users can then search for POIs on a specific floor and receive directions from their workspace or an entrance. This feature makes it easier for users to find key locations, such as restrooms or package delivery rooms.

Prerequisites:

• Account owner or admin privileges
• Either a Zoom Workspace Reservation subscription, Zoom Rooms subscription, or Zoom Common Area Phone subscription

How to create Points of Interest (POIs) on a floor map

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin.
2. In the navigation menu, click Workspace Management then Workspaces.
3. Click All Locations then Account Settings.
4. Under Basic, then Points of Interest, click the Add points of interest button.
5. On the pop-up display window, add the name of the point of interest and the icon you want to associate it with.
   Note: 
   • You may search for an icon by typing the name of the point of interest or selecting the frequently used icons from the available list of icons.
   • You may also edit your existing points of interest by clicking the name of the point of interest.
   • Created Points of Interest will be visible under Workspaces then Create tab when editing the floor map.

How to add Points of Interests (POIs) on a floor map

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin.
2. In the navigation menu, click Workspace Management then Workspaces.
3. Use location hierarchy to access the floor level you want to edit.
4. Select the floor where you would like to add the Points of Interest.
5. Click Configure Floor Map.
6. In the navigation menu, click Workspaces then click on Create tab.
7. Under Point of Interest, click the point of interest that you want to use on the floor map.
8. Once selected, drag and drop it to your desired location on the floor map.
9. (Optional)
   • Name: Add a name to your Point of Interest.
   • Assets: Add assets to your Point of Interest.
   • Workspace Photo: Add a photo to your Point of Interest.
     Note: Only upload a jpg/jpeg, gif, or a 24-bit png image file with suggested dimensions of 1920px by 1080px.
10. Click Done.
11. In the upper right corner, click Save to save your changes.

How to remove Points of Interest (POIs) on a floor map

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin.
2. In the navigation menu, click Workspace Management then Workspaces.
3. Use location hierarchy to access the floor level you want to edit.
4. Select the floor where you would like to remove the Points of Interest.
5. Click Configure Floor Map.
6. Click the point of interest you want to remove and then click Remove.
7. In the upper right corner, click the Save button to save your changes.
