How to use Markdown formatting in Team Chat

Windows | macOS

  1. Sign-in to the Zoom desktop app.
  2. Click the Team Chat tab .
  3. From the left sidebar, select the chat or channel to which you want to send a message.
  4. Enter your message in the text compose box. Choose one of the Markdown actions from the table above.
  5. Click the send icon  to send your message .

Android | iOS

  1. Sign in to the Zoom mobile app.
  2. Tap the Team Chat tab .
  3. Select a chat or channel to which you want to send a message.
  4. Enter your message in the text compose box. Choose one of the Markdown actions from the table above.
  5. Tap Send.
