To help you keep your webinars secure, webinar hosts and panelists can report attendees for inappropriate behavior during webinars by selecting which attendees you would like to report, include any written details, and add attachments. This report is automatically sent to the Zoom Trust and Safety team to evaluate any misuse of the platform and block a user if necessary.
You can also report abusive behavior that is related to Zoom but happened outside of a Zoom meeting, webinar, or event. Other types of requests you can submit to Zoom's Trust and Safety team include reporting fraudulent activity or a hacked account.
Requirements for reporting attendees for inappropriate behavior in a webinar
While in a webinar, you can report an attendee for inappropriate behavior. Reported attendees are removed from the webinar. Note: If a panelist reports an attendee, panelists cannot remove them from the webinar. Only the host can remove the attendee.
If your webinar consisted of several sessions, click Report this Session next to a session.
Click the drop-down menu to select attendees to report, then click Report. Note: You won't see this option if your webinar or webinar only had 1 other attendee.
Select the reason for reporting this attendee.
(Optional) Enter any comments to provide more information.
(Optional) Click Choose File to add screenshots or photos showing the problem.
Click Submit.
