Add data or upload files as a source for your AI prompt
You can enhance AI responses by adding relevant content or selecting from available data sources. For example, you can upload files directly or choose from existing sources such as meetings, chats, emails, Google Drive, or Office 365 data to provide context for your AI prompt. To use third-party data sources (Microsoft 365, Google, web content, or local file uploads) for added context, Data sources must be enabled and configured.
Tips for drafting your prompt
Key components for creating effective AI prompts:
Be specific and provide context: Describe what you're looking for in detail, including why you need it and how you'd like the response formatted or structure.
Give clear instructions for analysis: Tell AI how to approach the information: do you need a summary, specific data points extracted, or in-depth insights? The more precise your instructions, the better the output.
Include relevant background information: Providing up-to-date context on the subject helps AI return more accurate, relevant results.
Request a specific output format: Clearly describe the output you want AI to produce based on your input.
