Managing Zoom Tasks

The Zoom Tasks feature enables users to create, track, and manage action items seamlessly within the Zoom platforms. Tasks can be managed from within the Zoom Workplace app or Zoom web portal.

How to edit a task

Windows | macOS | Linux
  1. Sign in to the Zoom Workplace desktop app.
  2. Click the Tasks tab.
  3. Select the desired task list: My Tasks, All Tasks, or Starred Tasks.
  4. Move your cursor over the task and click the View details button.
  5. Update the desired fields.
    Note: If updating the Description field, you must click the Save button  to apply the changes to the description.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom Workplace mobile app.
  2. Tap the Tasks tab.
  3. (Optional) Tap the desired task list: My Tasks, All Tasks, or Starred Tasks.
  4. Tap the desired section you want to edit.
  5. Update the field.

Web
  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Tasks.
  3. Select the desired task list: My Tasks or All Tasks.
  4. Move your cursor over the task and click the View details button.
  5. Update the desired fields.
    Note: If updating the Description field, you must click the Save icon  to apply the changes to the description.

How to update the status of a task

While a task's status can be updated when editing a task, the task status can also be updated from within the task list. To update the status on the task list:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom Workplace app.
  2. Click the Tasks tab.
  3. Select the desired task list: My Tasks, All Tasks, or Starred Tasks.
  4. Find the desired task.
  5. Under Status, click the current status of the task and select the new Status.
    Note: If you do not see the Status column, it will need to be added to the task list view.

  5. Tap the tasks you want to complete.
  6. At the bottom of the screen, tap the Done button .

Deleting a single task

  4. Tap the desired task you want to delete. 
  5. In the top right corner, tap the More button , then tap the Delete button .

Deleting multiple tasks

  1. Sign in to the Zoom Workplace mobile app.
  2. Tap the Tasks tab.
  3. (Optional) Tap the desired task list: My Tasks, All Tasks, or Starred Tasks.
  4. In the top right corner, tap Select.
  5. Tap the tasks you want to delete.
  6. At the bottom of the screen, tap the Delete button  .
