Using the Google Drive Connector
Account owners and admins can seamlessly integrate Google Drive with the Zoom platform using the Google Drive Connector. With a simple setup, this integration allows teams to create, manage, and share files directly within Zoom Workflow Automation. By connecting Zoom with Google Drive, teams can streamline file sharing, improve collaboration, and ensure a smooth workflow across platforms. This integration enhances productivity by making it easier to manage and access Google Drive files without leaving the Zoom environment.
Requirements for using the Google Drive Connector
- A Zoom account owner or Zoom admin
- A Google Drive account
How to install from the Zoom App Marketplace
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- In the top right of your screen, search for Google Drive Connector by Zoom.
- Click Create Connector. You will redirect to the success page.
- Click Manage Connectors, you will find that Google Drive Connector is already installed.
How to use the Google Drive Connector with Workflow Automation
- As an admin, go to Zoom Account Management and enable Workflow Automation if you haven’t already.
- Open the Workflow tab in the Zoom desktop app.
- Click Create Workflow.
- Select your preferred trigger for the workflow.
- In the Workflow action panel, click on Google Drive.
- Drag and drop the Create Drive File action onto the Workflow builder canvas.
- Click on the Create Drive File.
- Connect to your Google Drive account.
- Complete the action by providing a name for the Drive file, selecting the file type (Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Slides), and then click Save.
- Once you’ve finished configuring the workflow, click Save Draft and provide a name for the Google Drive file.
- Click Publish to make your workflow live.
- Finally, trigger the workflow, and a new Google Drive file will be created.
How to remove the Google Drive Connector
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace with your Zoom account.
- In the top right of the page, click Manage.
- In the navigation menu, click Manage Connectors.
- Next to the Google Drive Connector, click the overflow menu
and select Delete. - Confirm the dialogue and click Delete.

- This Connector has access to the following information on Google:

- See, edit, create, and delete all of your Google Drive fileshttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email
- See your primary Google Account email address

- This Google Connector stores access credentials in the local data store:
- Google API tokens and Zoom OAuth credentials (both user-level only) are stored in an encrypted database.
